He’s not likely to just come in and immediately try to get them to play his style, that will come over time and with better players. Good managers use the players they have and get them playing to their strengths.

It’s a more positive appointment than the others also based on the fact they have been holding talks with him since the summer. It shows this is a considered decision and not rushed.

He’s not actually saying that, he’s saying it don’t worse and why should they be treated differently from the rest.

Just because he’s attack minded doesn’t mean he doesn’t know how to get teams to defend.

Ideally we get a sporting director first, in my opinion the 2 strongest links in Rangnick and Campos don’t match up to the managers we are being linked with in that I feel we would be going for a better candidate than any of the ones linked.

Anyone else read the latest Athletic article ? Seems we are a few weeks away from an appointment yet and seems the consortium are having the exact conversations we are as in are Martinez Fonseca and favre going to be able to sort out the defence ? Also seems like Jones could well stay in charge if he impresses short term ( which I don’t personally think he will).
