Because Joelinton was poor and looked physically done. Thought Tonali on for him was the obvious change. Would have helped the gap between defence and midfield again as well.

Maybe because he always brings them on when we are chasing a game ? The ideal time was to change at half time.

His substitutions have always been his biggest flaw. It was quite clear at half time Joelinton needed replacing but yet again he waited until the 60th minute when we where behind.

Do you back a manager in a window when he may not see out the season ?

Maybe, but you surely at least have the try and get someone better in.

I understand you are one of his staunchest defenders, but no way you give a manager big money to spend when there should be major questions over his long term future.

It’s a culmination of getting pretty much every big decision wrong since finishing 4th. That summer window was poor and it’s only gotten worse since then. We are regressing and I can’t see any way it gets better under Howe.

I wouldn’t be giving Howe anything to spend tbh.
