  1. Pardew had written him off already as not good enough according to one article in the Journal this morning.

Didn't we all call this after seeing his video on YouTube, BEFORE he had even signed?!

  2. We have so many injuries there isn't much choice on who to start. Santon and Haidara are just back from injury so weren't likely to start. Not starting Cabella is the only real "controversy".

That depends, it seems like it's 442 with Sissoko on the wing in which case it's a little more than just "controversial ".

Considering the way Ayoze has been scoring, I doubt he will be playing him out wide.

This is a dastardly team he has picked. Gouffran and Sissoko out wide. Colback plays yet again! Gouffran still abusing the left side of attack.

    I mean ... honestly!

  3. BBC3 now. :aww:

So funny seeing him run about as a player, I'd be f***ing fuming if he was still here

Saw an article with a hilarious description of his playing days, something like "A mediocre midfielder known more for his high-waisted shorts than his footballing ability"

  4. @CaulkinTheTimes

#Nufc want Pardew's successor to be 'head coach' rather than manager - a tracksuit boss whose priority will be improving the players he has.

Surely they have to consult Carr then?

    Praise The Lord!

Actually giving this some thought then, and looking for someone that actually fits the clubs recruitment approach.

    Liking the sound of that.

  5. Kristan Heneage ‏@KHeneage

I've heard a very interesting name as being on #NUFC's candidate shortlist. Former Brentford & Wigan boss Uwe Rosler.

Remember reading some articles on his approach, and being very impressed. It was when Wigan first took him on. The guy is eons ahead of Pardew. I'd be pretty intrigued. With  the kinds of players we sign, he'd be far more ambitious with the football we play.

  6. Can we have some flowers and gifts sent over to the Warnock residence please!

Neil Warnock says Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is the man to succeed him at Crystal Palace.

Speaking with talkSPORT this morning, Warnock insists he was not bitter over his sacking.

“When I went in to get my desk tidied [Palace coach] Ronnie Jepson said to me, ‘gaffer they have got somebody else, it can’t as come as quick as that’.

“I suppose in Premier League football they go over a matter of weeks and I know the chairman knows Alan well.

“When we were at Newcastle for my first game, I remember pulling Alan after the game and saying, ‘this is the club for you, this is your next club’.

“I only wanted this season to try and help them stabilise after the terrible blow they had when Tony Pulis left. There were no standout candidates and I said to the chairman then that he might as well put me in charge and then wait for one that is going to take the club on and this is it. I think Alan is a great appointment.

“He will be given a long contract, which is needed because the infrastructure at Palace is very poor, Premier League-wise, and he will get the chance [to change things].”

  7. I was asked to not be so negative because they're trying to get behind him, which is absolutely fair enough and as soon as I did another NUFC fan has signed up and is telling them how s*** he is.

    You guys are heartless

Having suffered what we did, I could never bring myself to reveal what he is to fans of another team that now has him. Let them find out for themselves. Man, it's going to burn them.
