Carver, Hoddle and Howe not in running according to Guardian.
Between Garde, Tuchel and Galtier.
Be happy with any of them.
Dispapointed, I was really hoping for one of Bruce, McLaren or Carver.
Shame.
Watch this be the one post Ashley reads when he comes on here.
Please remove this filth.

If Carr is the one picking the manager then that article will definitely be true.
Imagine all the effort that goes into scouting a player, and then convincing Mike to put out to purchase them.
Only to have Pardew then play Sammy Amoebi and Armstrong ahead of them.
He'd better be involved in picking the next manager.

If true I will subscribe to receiving the Guardian daily in their honour.
-
If we appoint Carver and sell Moussa we are in Deep s***.
Honestly, I think I'll be done at that point.
-
Surprised they're selling this early tbh, thought they'd at least keep it 'til after the Jan 31st deadline.
Got to pay the new manager and his staff for the duration of their eight year deals. This should just about cover it.
-
This is clearly the top new manager's kitty, so relax. It's all going to work out great.
-
He's worth 25M pounds - 30M pounds imo. He does this good for our crap counter attacking Pardew team, he's got a limitless potential under proper management.
However going to PSG sounds stupid to me, just like Cabaye. He'll become a rotation player at best unless he displaces Matuidi?
I think counter attacking suits his style but he should be good over there no matter what the system if Riviere was able to get 10 goals there
Poor Rivere man
Hope he comes good.

@KHeneage: Was told recently that #NUFC have been actively attempting to sell Sissoko to the highest bidder, thus the slew of reports. Circa £20m.
Maybe he's been looking to bail then? I mean we've been so shit for so long man. Can't blame him.
-
20 mill pounds is f*** all IMO. We always seem to undersell.
Really? We shouldn't be selling now that's for certain, but not sure I'd expect much more for Sissoko.

Who does PSG start in midfield at the moment?
-
Give me a good manager, and I really wouldn't even worry so much about this kind of thing. Just get a good manager in please!
I bet there is someone coming down to the end of their contract that we like, who plays central midfield. Who we can get in January. Not Delph.
Grenier would be a shout imo
This guy is onto something. Although I think you meant Gourcuff (contract up this year).
Remi Garde and Gourcuff to ease the pain.
-
well we're going down then, Carver in charge for the forseeable future the only player worth a damn out of our central midfield options gone and probably going to sell Perez too
Everything. Is. Bad. Forever.

We're definitely going to go shopping in the January sales now.
-
no way.
Who on earth are we going to play in midfield for goodness sake.
How pathetic are PSG by the way? Just pointlessly stacking midfielders.
-
Neil, you guys will be fine man. You have a good manager.
I expect a really good run in your near future.
-
Well that was startling. Please stop.
-
I don't live too far from Crystal Palace. My heart breaks for their fans man, as they are pretty sound. It's going to be painful.
-
Can't help but feel this guy would have been another Ferrerya if not for the injuries to De jong and Cisse, as well as Riviere's struggles.
Scary stuff.

How can you close this thread?
This is the time to revel in his foolishness as he carries it out elsewhere.
After having to lament it for so long, this thread will now serve as a place for celebration.
-
Yeah, I don't know why they then allowed Pardew to get away with shipping him out. Maybe the treatment of Cabella in addition has now pushed them over the edge.
-
"Although United sang the praises of Alan Pardew in the statement that confirmed his departure on Saturday there has been a measure of frustration at Newcastle that the manager was occasionally reticent to work with players recruited for him and the club will lose out on the sale of Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa this summer.
Similarly Pardew had serious reservations about Remy Cabella, one of Carr’s big summer recommendations. So this decision is likely to see candidates quizzed on how they would operate closer with the recruitment process that Newcastle remain committed to.
While Pardew attempted to be forceful in his picks – indeed he personally briefed reporters that he wanted Jonjo Shelvey to be signed last summer and also targeted Tottenham’s flying winger Andros Townsend – Carver is willing to cede all of this to others at the club when it comes to recruitment".
I hope this really will be addressed because I think Pardew deliberately sidelined players to make a point.
I have no doubt that the Yanga-Mbiwa and Cabella crap would have riled Carr massively, and Ashley too. It was outrageous s***.
I'm feeling like the only reason Pardew wasn't sacked was because they didn't want to pay the guy off man. Probably knew Palace might come back in for him and pay compensation this time around.
If they were pissed with Pardew's use of players then they will certainly take the next hire seriously, and not give it to bloody Carver. No chance.
Thinking it's going to be Remi Garde.

A complete nothing article man.
The guy is starting for Newcastle, he won't move to either of those teams where he'd be behind three strikers in each.
The guy turned down Real and Porto was it? To come here. He's no idiot.

Seems to have managed to upset Dover.
So happy this guy is gone man. So happy.
Who would you go for?
