It’s fucked because we’ve built a Howe squad. Last summer we doubled down on Howe ball when it was time to not.
We’ll need another manager who is fond of physicality and can be flexible.
Mitchell spent years with Ragnick in the Red Bull structure.
Mitchel's description of his vision of football fits that ethos of high pressing, aggressive and direct football.
It is perfectly aligned with Howe ball and the players we have, and still there are problems for some reason.
If we do end up with another manager it will be one that plays that style and so it should work with our players still.

Going back to the Howe vs Emery thing.
Howe was second choice in part because we don’t know how he scales with European football and a model more driven by leadership than the coach. Early signs suggest he’s struggling with both.
Ancelotti gets the big jobs because you can give him a squad of elite old men and he’ll try and make it work. No complaining or bad vibes.
More of these types will make it to the top jobs. Good company men. One reason I think De Zerbi hasn’t landed a top job is that he was complaining a fair bit about Brightons transfers. Liverpool barely signed anyone - not heard Arne Slot make more of it. I think that’s partly why he was hired.
Maresca at Chelsea too after Poch kicked off about transfers.
We're going to end up in the mud the way things are going.

Getting to the byline and cutting the ball back is football's most dangerous move.
Someone should tell Pep.

I agree , that's more to do with how poor we are at the minute though , dosnt change the fact Arsenal are a big physical team who aren't great to watch which was my original point . The modern day crazy gang with better players .
So if Arsenal are Stoke and Wimbledon.
What are we then? A league 2 outfit I presume?

If we were on form they would be physical and try and bully us whilst kicking us off the park and creating nothing like they did in our home game last season , a modern day Wimbledon .
Good luck with that. We are going to get smoked.

Arsenal are just a glorified Stoke from back in the day , loads of goals from
set pieces , make themselves hard to beat , they are awful to watch really considering how much they have spent .
Turn of your device and don't watch or comment on the sport ever again. You are embarrassing
We'll see how this holds up when we play them.

Always funny when a team's time-wasting comes back to bite them
I called it when that time was being added on. Happens too often.
Still a great result for the Arse.

Still an incredible result for Arsenal considering the circumstances.
Had no right to get anything from that match.
-
That's what Ederson should have done instead of going down.

Jesus is dense.

irrelevant that’s why you have substitutes.
The point is I'm not certain they are faking it.

If you've ever had to defend like this in a game it is pretty brutal to be fair.
The fatigue and cramping is something else.
-
He's just going to add the time on, and it will end up costing them.

This is actually hilarious man
Get round the outsides man. My God

Taking off Savinho and Doku under these circumstances was bizarre.
Brought on Foden and Grealish to add more backwards and sideways passing.

Such an incredibly dogshit effort this from Man City
This is the nonsense they were doing when Man Utd did them on the counter to win the cup and knock us out of Europe.

This passing it square and letting the centre half’s have shooting practice is hilarious. Surely pep is better than this
I can't believe it
Why don't they try and get to the byline and twat in some low crosses.
Might at least deflect off someone and go in or something.
-
Something quite funny about this.
Man City look completely clueless on how to break this down.
-
No DeBruyne will make this difficult for Man City to breakdown.
Going to be interesting.

Hmm. I thought he blew the whistle literally right before the kick? Or am I wrong?
Some truth in this, but the manner in which he launched it into the stratosphere did him in.

Trossard is phenomenally stupid.
I would have slapped him as he exited the pitch.
Arsenal are just not disciplined enough mentally to achieve anything.
-
The state of Ederson there.
What a pansy.
-
Gabriel with another midget on him, who was more concerned with patting his belly.
Too easy.

We knocked them out the league cup. Nothing to fear...
Of course, how could I forget. Looking forward to it now.
