Geremi is a beast. I will cry if he is ever used at right-back, way too influential in the middle.

Anyone else think we look really fit? Have been very impressed with the teams fitness. Butt, Solano and Carr in particular look more sprightly. Edgar asleep for the goal there.

Rozehnal cost £2.7 million ... he is looking very promising so far. How the hell did we manage to pay that little for a Czech international. Steal.

Wow we've looked so good so far I forgot about missing Barton for a second. Very promising midfield we could have in the making. Great to see Zoggy playing again. Looks like he's enjoying his football too.

Luque's movement to get the two goals has been great. It is when he is in open space that you see the problems he is having . That leg just doesn't seem to be at full strength. He doesn't have any strength in his lower body, and the pace he had seems to be completely gone. Kinda sad to see. hope he can get fitter and better healed up.

Geremi man of the match so far. Everything is going though him. Good touch and strong on the ball. Decisive and accurate passing. It is making everyones job easier Solano and Butt in particular. Get's the ball to Solano in space everytime for Solano to whip in the crosses. No hesitating. my God, I hate to sound over excited but Geremi might be the signing of the summer if he replicates this in the premiership. This is the play we badly needed from Parker but he just wouldn't stop spinning around!

Ramage is terrible still. I'm startled by Luque's lack of pace and strength. I think that injury of his was far worse than any of us appreciated. Martin's should be working on his touch everyday after practice. It still let's him down sometimes and if he gets it right he will become twice the player he is and he is already a good one. Luque's scored again! What a cross by Solano.

I honestly think Geremi is making his job far easier and they look brilliant together in the centre. Butt can just focus on sitting and tidying up as geremi is getting forward and spreading passes around.

Geremi is involved in every single passing move. I really hope we use him in the middle of the park. Oh what a difference it makes when you have a central midfielder who can pass the ball around with confidence.

Geremi is looking really good I think doing his job defensively but getting forward well. His corners are lovely too. LUQUE! Great movement, awesome ball from Milner!

Geremi is going to be a star for us as is Rozehnal. What a turn by Rozehnal.

Geremi looks nice and composed in the middle of the park. He actually makes forward passes. Our defence needs some work though!
