Kadar left back next game if Enrique isn't ready please. At least he is a defender.

In a weird way I'm encouraged by our performance because if we play like this against anyone outside the top 6 or so we will deck them. We've been competitive and actually caused their defence some discomfort and problems, but stupid mistakes at the back have cost us. The important games are the ones that come after we play Liverpool. Zoggy at left-back isn't funny anymore though and Taylor appears to be working on some kind of spinning breakdance move instead of tracking Ronaldo. Keegan ought to get a bit of credit for actually making this lot look like they can actually pass the ball a little bit. I really think we have looked good going at them.

Taylor's defending on that second goal was laughable. Why is he turning his back on Ronaldo?
-
Nobby Solano still getting it done ...
-
We really could have done without Wigan winning.
-
Should be interesting to see what the guys have been working on the last two weeks in training. At least we don't have to deal with Scholes or Anderson in centre midfield, who are both more mobile.
-
Zoggy at left back is pathetic. He cannot defend these Man U wingers. Play him on the wing and drop one of Duff or Milner, why is that so hard to do? Tragic stuff.
-
Really looking forward to seeing the team picked. Should be fascinating.

Link? That's what Alex McCleish said in his post match interview. Cheers. That said he's not going to say much else (McLeish or Taylor for that matter). I know. However, I wonder why people say anything in such situations. Taylor was silly for saying it in the first place, but for McCleish to come out and mention it was just as silly. Makes Taylor look really stupid.

I'm more concerned about the teams below us tbh. That last minute birmingham goal was really annoying.

Apparently Taylor has said he didn't think he made much contact with Eduardo. Right ...

I can't understand anybody defending that, pathetic. The thick fucker isn't even sliding. He's launching himself onto the guy's leg! His whole body weight would have come down on his leg. Isn't even looking for the ball. This is all down to the bully them tactical speech, no doubt about it. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. You can quite clearly see from that photo, Kaka, that Eduardo has pushed the ball past Taylor. Taylor's reactions were just too slow. Judging from the clip on YouTube, crappy as it may be, Taylor's challenge was clumsy but not malicious. Without seeing the clip from various angles, it is difficult to categorically state either way, but I would barter that Eduardo is as much as victim as his own skill as he is Taylor's tackle. The problem nowadays is that players such as Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Eduardo et al are so quick on the ball that they leave defenders trailing in their wake. Please do not misread this - I am NOT blaming Eduardo, as that would be daft. Taylor's challenge warranted a red card but I suspect Eduardo's sleight of foot was just too quick for Taylor. to be honest, I am surprised that more players of Eduardo's class have not suffered similar injuries, as defenders are constantly sprawling out after being 'owned.' I hope that Eduardo recovers and I also hope that people try not to throw the book at Taylor before viewing all the evidence. We have one dodgy replay and few photos. Let the FA do the deciding. There's nothing wrong with being late as it can happen, but look at the tackle! He is not sliding but launching himself onto Eduardo and his foot is ridiculously high. Do you play a lot of football? You just don't tackle like that, not even by accident, it isn't natural. The guy is a professional and so the tackle is even more inexcusable.

Maybe the thought of a thick dirty b****** possibly ending the career of another player doesn't sit well with some people. Have you seen enough of this player to make this statement or is it just a knee jerk reaction to a badly timed tackle? He looks thick, he certainly looks like he hasn't had a wash and he must be a bastard to do something like that. Good enough for me.

That Argentine Zarate looks interesting. Good looking player.

Someone talking sense. The thing is thouhg, players have to understand that everytime you go in like that this is what could happen. I really don't give a f*** if he feels s*** tbh. You are potentially ending someone's career and livelihood. f****** respect your fellow professionals. That tackle is inexcusable. Steaming in with two feet up and studs first. I played enough football to know you cannot do that accidentally. It is not a standard tackle. You think he set out for the outcome which he got? Set out? Outcome? It was a terrible tackle that was a straight red no matter what. Now, considering what it has actually done to the player, in my opinion he should be banned for a significant amount of time. I actually like the idea of him being banned for as long as Eduardo is out. I'm sick of this idea of big, thick, lack of ability having shit centre halves being told to go out there and kick people or bully them. This is what the result is.

I really hope he'll be okay. Alan Smith's was around the ankle and was pretty brutal too. However, he has returned fully shit as before.

I hate this kind of talk I really do. How about just playing some football? This crap encourages terrible situations like today's. People should be held accountable for this stuff, it's just not on.
-
That looks like a fucking ridiculous challenge to me!!! Seriously what the fuck kind of challenge is that?!!!! Two feet studs up? Ban the fucker for the rest of the season, that is seriously bullshit!
-
I hate it when stuff like this happens Where is the break though? Middle of the leg? around the ankle? Or around the knee? Really hope he's okay. And now of course the bastards are winning to rub salt in the wound, and of course make things even scarier for us. The break is just above the ankle. It will turn up on the web soon enough, but f****** norah, they're not exaggerating. That is not good, but you never know. Hopefully it looks worse than what it is. Having severe damage around the joints is generally not great though. I hate the way no oname shit players can just fuck up a good players career like this, with one wreckless challenge. Just a lack of respect for fellow pros. Harsher penalties certainly need to be dished out for crap like this.
