It's really because Gordon can receive the ball, carry it and use the ball pretty well. Opens things up for Tino much more. Murphy on the other hand just isn't that great in build up play.

Tino looking so good with someone to combine with ahead of him in Gordon. Allowing him to get forward much more dangerously.

Joelinton should not be given the ball like that in those deeper areas.

Barnes looking good.

Good to see Joelinton and Isak back, and nice for Bruno to get a rest with Miley coming in. Also hoping Barnes has a good game down the right side too, as that would be very useful going forward. Trippier against either winger could be ugly, but guess we'll see how that plays out. Going to be an interesting game.

He's so funny man Theres not much worse than having a chaotic goalie at the back. The mad thing about that goal is he then started screaming at Dorgu, and tried to put the blame on him! Have to say, I have liked the look of Dorgu. That looks a really good signing for the fee you paid, and he's still got a lot of room to grow.

Theres some decent Bundesliga action. Eintracht Frankfurt Vs Leverkusen at 17:30. Have to say, Ekitike is must see TV this season. He's been class.

I think in both games we've played them he hasn't had enough support in dealing with Salah, and he was put under pressure. Particularly when having to chase back when Salah spun and got in behind, and being over exposed when he was being run at in transition. He hung in there but I thought he wasn't protected enough. We were punished more for it in the first game, and last night I think if they had pushed more there was an air of inevitability IMO. If people don't agree with that it's fine, but for me personally I'd like to see us do a better job doubling up on Salah. And maybe also have Hall be a bit more conservative in when he goes forward as Liverpool tend to leave Salah up top as a quick outlet - on their second goal I thought Hall went forward a bit too early, the error was from Tonali who forced the pass to him, but that bit can also be looked at.
