Someone on here said today that the deal was already done. It does seem like it might be tbh.
Read yesterday that we are his first priority because he also wants to be closer to home in Scotland, so it may well be.

Szoboszlai scores ... and they lead by 2 now.

Bayern losing to Leipzig with 10 mins left. Interesting end to the Bundesliga for a change.
Pen to Leipzig now!

Trent again
Don't know why they won't just play him in midfield proper man, where he isn't defending one on one all the time.

Imagine if after Howe gets us to this point, Emery seals the deal by beating Liverpool! The two finalists for the job at Newcastle!
-
Yes! Jacob Ramsey!

Ollie Watkins man ... what a loser.
Has missed 5 of the 9 penalties he's taken in his career now apparently.
-
This season has been such a hoot man. Can't get enough of it
-
Even when Spurs are good they are still bad. The Spursy way.
-
Ryan Mason has set Spurs up very well today. Best football they've played all season.

70m euros release clause apparently. £61m.
It's a fair chunk of change for him, but it could be worth it due to his versatility.
In our system he could play on the left, right and in either of the number 8 slots.

Never trust the Turkish sports media, man. Every season they link us to some hyped Turkish player and it never happens.Yes, this is true, but thought it was worth mentioning anyway.
The rumour popped up around March for the first time, when it was mentioned our scouts and Brighton scouts were at a match watching him and were very impressed. And the name has popped up again more recently with a fee mentioned.
Profile wise he seems to make sense and he also has Champions League experience, and so thought it was worth putting on here and discussing.
Lets see what happens.

Winder if that’s why we’ve been linked with Guler. Media hearing were after someone from Fenwrbahce and assuming it must be Guler, when maybe it’s this lad.
Probably keeping tabs on both as they both look very good players, and both fit our profile of players.
Both together can be had for less than £25 million too, which is extraordinary really. Hope the rumours for both are true.

Rumours from Turkey that a £17 million deal for Fenerbache's Ferdi Kadioglu is on the cards. Been reading up on him and checking out some clips and he looks like he would be a great addition. Attack minded and technically gifted full back. Plays right back mostly, but can cover at left back and on either wing. Born in the Netherlands but represents Turkey.

I don't understand the point in us paying 70 odd million for a DM when I'm sure we could find our own starlet for half the price.
The only clubs that continuously waste that sort of money are clubs like Chelsea and Man Utd who can't be arsed with putting the effort into intense scouting.
Our current model is working fine.
(I know is Isak was 60m but strikers always cost more).
People just love their name brands man, it's unbelievable.
We've built an incredible young spine at great value with Botman, Bruno and Isak that has already allowed us to make incredible progress in a year, and they want to move away from that and pay a premium for premier league players at the peak of their popularity that their clubs can command top money for. They actually want to be Chelsea instead.
Makes absolutely no sense man. Especially when you consider how much we still need to build up the squad with a better number of quality players.

I love the way Eddie never tries to take any credit for himself
True leader. Always credits the people working under him, and never makes it about himself.

Gallagher has looked like a headless chicken every time I've seen him this season.
I'm sure Eddie could work his magic but he'll cost, what, 35-40 million?
Great time to go for Gallagher as the past year has seen him become quite underrated.
His year at Palace he was driving forward with the ball, and scoring and creating goal opportunities. He was only 21 years old at the time too.
Still think he'd be a really good pickup. In a settled and consistent role in the team he would look more like the Palace version.

You seen him play? Care to give us a run down in what he’s like and how good he is?

Just happened to switch to this at the end here. Disgrace conceding there man. My goodness.

Have to say the ball from Gilmour for the Brighton goal was absolute filth. Sheesh.

Love Miggy and Enciso making up at the end there

If we had gone for him last summer people would have complained he wasn't good enough, because he hadn't shown it at this level yet.
