Loved the way Bruce criticized the defending for the glut of goals at the end of the game, as if it had nothing to do with him

Does he know he is culpable for that at all? We never saw these border line unprofessional performances under the previous manager in comparison.

Yeah, okay. You lot were ready to sack Scott Parker after the first couple of games and were rubbishing Fulham, but from watching them play it was clear they were actually pretty decent. Can't wait to see how we fare against them next.

We'll see with Sheffield United. They still play better football than us and create better chances, they're just terrible at taking them. Their strikers are poor and for some reason Wilder refuses to start Brewster over the likes of McGoldrick and Burke.

I would love a pundit to go into work an hour early and actually research Newcastles stats so far this season, look at how many points we have gained by sitting back for 85 mins and then getting a lucky break, the fact we have two goalkeepers that get worked more than the rest of the league put together.

 

We are every bit as bad as Sheff Utd tge only difference is that they have Mcburnie and we have Wilson.

 

Or, the pundit could turn up 5 minutes before and tell everyone that Newcastle fans expectations are to high and we want the win the league with 100 points and 100 goals but "they need to be realistic, it doesn't work like that".

I've maintained from early this season having been able to watch so many games and see every team, that we are the worst team in this league, purely because of the manager. Wilson has been the key difference, he was a massive signing really and is really the only reason we aren't already at the bottom.

Not confident his form will continue as he continues to train under this manager everyday. Think after this run of fixtures over Christmas and the New Year we'll be in the bottom three.

That would be amazing for him and Wolves. Would love that.

Willian's another favourite of the forum and was suggested should the takeover have gone through in the summer, and he's been a terrible signing for them.

I don't care where Fulham are in the table. They are quality and fun to watch.

Just because they're a top club that are really struggling for end product this season and it's just amazing to me that they don't have anyone near as good, and you just know they never considered him, even on a free. It's tragic really.

Was watching Arsenal with a friend that is a big fan of theirs yesterday and he was fuming, so they were probably just top of mind too.

This guy is still better than anyone playing in an attacking midfield for Arsenal this season, having seen how much they struggled for any kind of end product yesterday.

This is the most negative I’ve ever seen an Arsenal side. They used to always be exciting, regularly score team goal of the year contenders, dominate possession and often concede loads. So fun for the neutral.

 

Under Arteta, they look so boring. Create fuck all, whilst not being any good at the back.

 

Arsenal haven't done any of that for years now.

 

Arteta did well to get them back headed in the right direction last season, but they've lost their way to start this one.

They may well have been on the decline. But nothing this bad. They’re absolutely brutal to watch. Not having Arteta at all. Lovely player, but I have no idea how he wants his side to play or what their style is supposed to be.
