Really disappointing stuff from Shearer. No one in the team is producing anything of note right now. If he's not going to say anything about the manager then he shouldn't be critical of the players.

Having a go at any of our attacking players is just silly at this point. On the rare occasions we do get the ball we are all so deep it's incredibly difficult to play out from there, and so we just constantly give it back almost immediately.

It does seem that the vast majority of our fans are now fed up with him and realise he is utter shit.  I wonder if it is because there are no fans in the ground, all of our games are on UK TV.  So everyone is realising just how brutally awful the tactics are?  I'm sure a lot of people who would have stuck up for him before would have enjoyed the matchday experience..... maybe    Or perhaps only ever seen us on MOTD and just repeated the media narrative about Bruce.

 

That said, it does seem like large chunks of the media and other fans have now caught up and are starting to point out how crap we are.  I've had a few mates who support other teams, messaging me after games saying they can't believe how crap we are.

I think when all the games are being shown on TV, a lot more fans of other teams tune in and actually get to see a lot more than just the highlights, yeah.

On top of that, they then get to see the likes of Villa vs Brighton right afterwards for comparison, and that's when it really stands out how useless the team is.

Enough of them there that were under Rafa and so recently had first hand experience of a decent manager, so it was only a matter of time.

They will be cut adrift with 3 other teams, in all honesty you can’t say that they will be the 1 out of them all to survive. If Burnley’s takeover happens then they could have a decent January transfer window, people have said that WBA haven’t performed as badly as their results say, and Sheffield United still have a couple of decent players who could drag them over the line.

I hear you man.

I just think a lot of the players that could really make a difference for Fulham came in later in the window, and as they settle in and Mitrovic gets in a bit of form, I like their chances.

Yeah like I say you couldn't have played us at a better time, but equally no excuses for how bad we were that day. Still should've had plenty enough to have produced better than the garbage we served up.

You were missing James, Richarlison, Digne and Coleman. And all your other players that could carry the ball started on the bench in Iwobi and Bernard. Really couldn't fault you guys on the day.

Interesting to see that Ancelotti has made a tweak to more of a 3-4-2-1 to bring in an extra centre back to try and improve things defensively. Probably should have gone with Holgate over Mina though.
