Not impressed by Loftus-Cheek at all. Doesn't really do anything. Just seems to lumber about.

I’d like to see what Joelinton is like starting with Wilson. Can’t rely on Carroll to play all season so will be good to see if he’s any better playing with an out-and-out striker.
Same. Wilson looking to get in behind is the type of striker he should do best with.
On the rare occasions he was on the pitch with Gayle last season, he set him up with some excellent chances, Which Gayle annoyingly failed to take.

Blatantly have to play 3-3-3-1 to accommodate him.
I do think he was inverted to help cover Shelvey and I can see us packing the midfield like that throughout the season. The danger was the amount of space it left for West Ham to attack down the left wing. Also a ton of pressure on manquillo. On the flipside it left Manquillo in lots of space to attack at times.
I'd like to see Fraser, Miggy and ASM behind Wilson. That has the potential to frighten the shit out or defences. I don't that we will though, or at least not very often. The height and strength of Carroll for Wilson to run off was important and we really don't have that height or physicality in Shelvey, Hayden and Hendrick. We have quite a lot of nice options to play around with but we are really lacking a destroyer or another DM.
This was never the case. Defensively we dropped back into a compact 4-4-2 shape, and he actually supported Manquillo well, blocking a number of crosses.

Aslong as Almiron gets his 10 slot back whenever we aren't playing 2 up front then all will be good.
Or he could just have his slot and we don't play a system reliant on a player who will be injured 80% of the time.
Bruce has already mentioned we're also going to see instances where Wilson and Joelinton play together up top.
There are going to be different setups this season depending on who we play I imagine, which would make a nice change.

I would fully expect Bruce to continue sucking up to MA, because he knows it's the only chance he has of getting to have any say in players coming in or anything else for that matter.
Might as well get used to it, because it won't ever stop.

The funny thing about Spurs is that every time Dele gets hauled off they look worse.
I don't know what it is exactly he's blaming Dele for doing wrong. They don't improve defensively or offensively without him

Centre back Eric Dier dominated.

What a delivery and header. Class.

Sissoko playing in his NUFC right wing position
Mourinho is a PFM in Portuguese clothing.
-
Rodriguez is going to be something else. Yikes.
-
Dele Alli off?!
Mourinho hates Alli man
Knew I shouldn't have put him in my team.
-
Everton have looked 'prettier' but Spurs have had the better chances so far, outside of that horrific Richarlison miss.
-
Could have passed it, could have taken another touch to compose himself, could have done anything but that
-
Richarlison man, that is disgustingly bad
-
James Rodriguez has started really well
Yup, influencing play from that inside right position. Everton are going to be very tough to play.

Everton playing Ancelotti's Christmas tree formation. Always loved that setup from his AC Milan days. Sweet.

Surprised they haven't invested more, especially considering they got £50 million for Chilwell. Really weird.
£100m+ on a new state of the art training ground - suppose it’s similar to when Arsenal/Tottenham built their stadiums, need to balance the books somewhere.
Ah, right. Might mean a rough season for them then.

West Brom causing Leicester some problems here.

Close to joining Eibar on loan apparently.

The best Stricker we got since Ba?
I just dont understand the fact why we dont sign a proper strickers all the time?
Ashley is a tight fucker and has an odd dealing/relationship with agents who shovel shit talent our way, regardless of what our squad needs.
A lot of talent has passed through this club in MA's time here. The issue has always been marrying up the players we bring in with the right manager. Has nothing to do with shite talent at all.

The guy did nothing yesterday to be described as morbid. It's incredible
Had some fantastic interchanges with Manquillo, who he released into space a number of times. The guy can play. Had a lot to do with Manquillo's very good performance.

Loftus-Cheek is utter garbage man.
Kepa is just so average it's untrue.
Cannot believe Lampard made no changes at the half.
