I find it funny how it has been completely forgotten how Rafa was purposely not allowed to sign any  players he wanted and so we continuously ran down the transfer window and only allowed him to buy players he wanted at the very end of the window if they cost no more than £5 million e.g. Fernandez, Schar, Joselu, Rondon (on loan) etc etc.

Almiron was the only player they eventually backed him on. Bruce's first window and £56 million was spent on ASM and Joelinton alone.

And so basically Rafa on minimum budgets achieved what Bruce has having spent upwards of £56 million.
