Looks like it's 3 in central midfield i.e. Shelvey, Bentaleb and Almiron.
ASM and Gayle as strikers.
What difference does it make? With that formation, and Shelvey and Bentaleb as central midfieders, we are basically just going to let them have the ball for 90 mins.
You don't say

New kit looks really nice. Goalkeeper one too.

How thick is Gini man. Nice assist

I don't even know how you put together a formation with those players. As many as five square pegs in round holes if it's five at the back?
Manquillo, Fernandez and Rose are the 3 centre backs.
Lazaro and Ritchie are the wing backs.
Shelvey and Bentaleb in central midfield.
ASM, and Almiron wide.
Gayle up top.

Minamino's coming out party today then

My God I would laugh so much if Liverpool go into double figures
What an absolute goon you are.
Awww, did I hurt your feelings sissy boy
Sissy boy? That's rich coming from the guy who was nearly in tears, when nobody agreed with him "that Theo Walcott is a real threat and should start every game".
Yeah? That was your interpretation of things? Okay man
Tell you what ... I'll settle for 9 from Liverpool this Sunday. Hope that's better

Yup, it's just so rubbish man. Possibly one of the worst club to progress from the youth team to the first team.

Can't wait to see who he shoe horns in there rather than give Watts a try in a meaningless game. My best guess would be Bentaleb
We've seen Branthwaite come through at Everton recently with injuries to Holgate and Mina, and get a chance at centre back, and Ancelotti was praising him to the hilt after he excelled in the last game. He's 18 years old.
Similarly we've seen Leicester use Luke Thomas at left back recently with injuries to Chillwell and Fuchs and he has done well also at just 19 years old.
We never ever seem to have options that can be brought in from the youth teams. It's so ridiculous. Where is the big french centre back, Ludwig Francilette, we brought in in the summer? He's 20 years old, can he not step in for one meaningless game for goodness sake?

What's the point in having a manager if they seemingly have no control over anything that happens?!
I remember saying this much earlier in the season when everyone kept blaming the players for our performances
It's a heck of a job for chancers man. Millionaires that can always blame the players, the fans, science, sod and his laws etc etc and never take responsibility for anything. It's unbelievable

Think he'll risk them ahead of the champions League game? They've nothing to play for. Reckon D.Silva will play but not so sure about Sterling or KDB.
That game is two weeks away from Sunday's game though.
Would you want to go into that game having not played competitively for what would be approaching 3 weeks long, if they don't play Sunday? Think that's a far worse idea.

In a pretty attacking Bournemouth team he typically gets around 7 goals a season, outside of last season when he got 14.
Can't wait to see him get 4 under Bruce. Good times.
-
The Norwich game is Man City's last actual game prior to the champions league matches and so I'm thinking he plays the first team and has them go full throttle?
-
Completely forgot about those awful performances against the League One teams. My goodness those were so incredibly bad. It was laughable really.
-
Man, for sure. Can definitely tell Leeds are going to be so much fun next season. Should add a lot to the league.
-
Who was the original bunch Staveley tried to buy the club with?
Get those jokers back in man. This is ridiculous. Really don't think PIF succeed with this now.

He has done okay this season. No Perez and Rondon is clearly is a massive loss (which has been underplayed all season on this board). We got lucky, but we had some good wins. Worried pre-season but we were safe a third of the way through the season. Football was super s*** at home too many times but 11 wins and 11 draws with a game to go is fine. Clearly we need the takeover and a new manager to progress but Bruce hasn't been a "failure". Obviously no takeover or new manager will be rattled this season but so vital we stayed up this season. So so important.
He's benefitted massively from taking over a Rafa coached squad, even if he has made them shitter along the way.
Rondon and Perez scored 25 goals combined. Joelinton scored 2. Don't care about transfer fees. There is -23 goals there. That's huge.
You say this as if Rondon and Perez still would’ve scored 25 goals that season had Bruce been in charge. They both had personal record scoring seasons as far as their premier league careers are concerned. I’m pretty confident that was largely because they were working for Rafa Benitez. Put those 2 in a Steve Bruce team and i’d bet that Rondon would look isolated like he did at WBA under Pulis, and Perez would probably be benched after a few games.
Award winning post.

Leicester have looked awful since restart, Rodgers ending the season on a whimper again like at Liverpool!
They really miss Maddison badly.
-
Moura to Kane again, and an even more outrageous finish.
Weren't people on here saying Kane looked finished?

Even against such a weakened Liverpool side man
We can't get the ball or keep it more than 5 seconds
