Aye. Love Traore. I don’t think I’ve seen a player improve as much as he has from last season to this season.
The Wolves manager has been so patient and has given him a go at different positions.
Played him as a striker as a right wing back and then settled on him as the right side attacking midfielder in their 3-4-2-1.
So many managers would have lost patience as he can be frustrating. But it's paying off for Wolves now though, as he is growing in confidence and the crowd there is totally behind him and get excited every time he's on the ball.

I think Adama Traore might be my favourite player in the PL. Guy's a fucking beast. Really growing into the potential. Surely he's worlds away now from the player he was at Villa and Boro?
Still just 23 years old too. Got a lot more to come from him.
Really appreciate the Wolves manager giving him the freedom to just play.
Causes so much panic to the opposition and creates a plethora of scoring opportunities either directly or indirectly.

Jota man ... composure rating zero
-
When the going gets tough ... Firmino.
-
adama should have kept running with that ffs
The guy is a chaotic mix of brilliance and madness. I love him though. Fantastically entertaining

Salah is incredibly selfish man
-
Traore is outrageous running at people out wide man. My goodness.
-
Raul is class.

Watching van Dijk defend is an absolute art
What makes it even more impressive is his demeanour.
No shouting or chest thumping or flying around into tackles.
Just the coolest, calmest guy. Looks the same at the end of the game as he did at the start, never breaking a sweat.

Man, that's cruel regarding the Mane triple captain. Fair few will have suffered that.
Didn't look too terrible an injury though, and so could be back against West Ham and could certainly tear things up in that game.

the shit policy in place for ages (pre rafa) and that has now returned under the transfer warlord Nickson (aka Carr 2.0) hopefully will have less of the random AF signings of Colback, Lazaar and Saivet of the world. It's strange to me that we aren't paying them out of their contracts or selling them for nothing to get the fuck out of the club and off the wage bill.
They are either not wanted by other clubs or are happy to run down their contracts. I reckon they'd have to take a ridiculous pay cut for other clubs. Colback is on 60k ffs as he was on a free.
Yup, they're paid too well for the level of clubs that want them.

Reports earlier were that we were back ahead as favourites, so it's probably gone through now.

Seems the strategy in January is to target talented players that aren't necessarily having the best of times at their current clubs as loans with an option to buy.
Not the worst strategy I don't think. I could see us getting some really interesting players this way. If only this manager could get a clue man. Urgh.

Seems to be one that plays just off the striker, as well as both wide positions.
-
From his highlights he does seem to have a fantastic free kick, so I would think so, yes.
-
Offer made for Hakan Calhanoglu apparently.
-
Both bench players now though.

Calvert-Lewin grafts so hard and I think that's why he finds himself in those situations. Very competitive young player. I like that about him actually.
He's doing very well for Everton now as a young guy coming through. I can only imagine how bad he would have looked if he were at Newcastle and how shite everyone would be proclaiming him to be by now.

Mourinho has preferred to use Vertonghen and Tanganga there so far. Ben Davies will be back soon too.
Mourinho has also played 3 at the back with wingbacks at times too, and has used Sessegnon at left wing back.
-
Sure. Fair enough. Just wasting my time anyways.

Poor old Everton with their big name manager and massively expensive team getting sucker punched off our shit show.
The amusement of literally robbing points off teams will never go away.
Within a year or two we'll be decades behind them.

For all the fuss made about Rafa it's amazing how quickly what he did has been forgotten.
And all it took was some injury time goals after continuously abject performances. Pretty amazing.
Loads of fans have been waiting to hate the Spanish bloke for years. They despised him being popular with younger fans, hipsters, liberals and other clubs. They despised him calling Ashley out. They love being mediocre, they wear it as a badge of honour alongside their poppy. Rafa didn’t want this, he was everything they didn’t like in football.
It's so disappointing.
If we were out here playing like Sheffield United and getting these results I'd happily hold my hands up and give Bruce his kudos. Even if we were performing to the level of Pulis' Stoke or West Brom teams as ugly as they were, I'd somewhat respect the organisation even that took.
Instead it's all just a horrific jumbled mess hoping for some sort of fortune, and it's absolutely comical.
But yeah, more points so far, so it's all great. Sure.
-
Talented guy. Nice that Bruce has found a role for him to come off the bench when we need late goals ...
Wonder how much his value has dropped since the end of last season. From a suave ball playing defensive stud to a token hopeful sub when all is lost.
Yay. Good times.

We are now seeing the real transfer strategy MA has always wanted and which Rafa was refusing to comply with.
We'll always go loan with option to buy when possible, especially in January. Trying to target players on our database that have perhaps not worked out at clubs they moved to fairly recently. In summer is when we are more likely to see more traditional purchases.
I have no doubt we'll end up with some decent players this way, but let's see what the manager will get out of them. Think that will continue to be the issue, which will be really irritating.
