He's been the grinch this Christmas

Man ... so happy I gambled on the Man U revolution and brought in Pogba. He's been brilliant.

He's also made it clear in those quotes that he has done his bit, and both he and the scouts have identified targets and have handed them over to Charnley and Mike.

He's just letting us know it's all down to the powers that be so to speak.

I like Rafa as a person. He says the right things and raelly cares for the fans and the club. He is a great proffessional and got bags of experience.

 

But the football we play under him is so boring to watch. I know he has never got the players he wanted and never been backed by Ashley(and never will). But I'm not sure the football won't be much funnier to watch even if he gets better players, although we may get more points.

 

If we ever get new owners(wich I think will happen at least untill the summer) I'm starting to think it would be good with a new manager at the same time. A new voice for the players and a manager who wants to play some offensive football for once.

 

Like I said, still likes Rafa and not sure on this. Maybe we could play another football with Rafa if he get the players he wants but I'm not sure. Think he has his way of playing the game and it's very defensive minded. Not sure that is what I want to see in the long run if we get new owners with a little bit of ambition.

But think of it this way, did you find his Liverpool teams to be boring?

I think Rafa is just setting us up to get results with what is clearly a really limited set of players.

If this team is setup as a more attacking team we'd end up like Fulham currently are at the bottom only far worse.

Just trying to make sure we get players in January and not mess about with it. Will be interesting to see what happens with that.

I think in the next month and then coming up to the end of the season it is going to be very clear where things are with the club.

Think the fans are going to end up all being on the same page against Mike Ashley, finally, if he mucks about in January and if Rafa ends up leaving at the end of the season.

I still think he's underrated a bit tbh. Should get tons more credit, he's absolutely mint.

 

I think i mentioned this before, the vid of his goals for us is incredible. His one problem is that he's a bit hit and miss/hot and cold. He'll have games where his decision-making is all over the place, then games where he looks like a world-beater.

In the diaomond setup as an out and out striker I think the decision making is less of an issue. When out wide I think it shows up more.

Lovely player in any case, and such a happy upbeat dude. Great personality.

The balance of the midfield three yesterday was really great.

 

How do you think Lukaku fits in once fit? Do you think he comes in for one of Rashford or Lingaard? Not sure he'd be as effective in some of the one touch passing and movement on display yesterday.

 

Lukaku needs to slim down a bit first. I don't know how he was allowed to pack on so much muscle. Really poor management that.

 

I'd have him on the bench when he's fit for the reasons you say. The football yesterday was great. He'll slow it down.

Yeah, it was the first game and it was Cardiff, but some of the combination play was superb.

On the last goal I think you had 6 midfielders on the pitch and no strikers, and it was some class passing and movement leading up to the through ball from Pogba to Lingaard for the goal.

Lukaku will really do well to break into the team the way it was looking yesterday.

Marco Silva seems a bit overrated

It seems England always have really decent goalkeeping prospects that then turn into goalies that make a lot of mistakes. So strange.
