  1. We're going to win the fucking World Cup.

Ummm ... you weren't invited buddy.

Ummmm I'm Flemish as shit, pal.

    No, you're a loser.

 I'll never stop being mad we didn't qualify. Fuck off I'm Belgian.

It is very satisfying how awful you lot are at football. Brings a nice balance to everything

I only pray the next time you manage to fluke your way in that you draw the super eagles, so that we can give you the right good thrashing you deserve!

  2. Great goal Eden Hazard, and another DeBruyne special delivery.

Another timely reminder that Mourinho had the pair of them with him at Chelsea and did nothing with it ...

Won the league the season after selling de Bruyne

    And threw away Chelsea's future.

DeBruyne is 26, Hazard is 27 and Lukaku is 25 man. Oh and Salah is 26 ...

Not a clever trade off at all.

  3. Lukaku is such a mobile striker and look so much more threatening when he's being played in and the ball is delivered to his feet when he is in space.

Mourinho it seems ism ore hell bent on transfroming him into Drogba. Having him by himself miles from the midfield and battlign defenders to hold up the ball and bring others in.

It's just not who he really is at all.

In the sense yes, but his movement off the ball isn't all that great. When he has space to run into he looks great, but he's not good at making movement off the ball to create space for his team mates. Which has always been my no 1 criticism of him, for example Harry Kane is significantly better at this and it's part of the reason why Spurs midfield excels so much.

Which is why i was so adamant about my opinion of him going years back, it's the one skillset which top teams require the most and it's the thing he struggles with the most. I'd argue that his technique ( which is what i see most people criticise) isn't even that bad really.

My comment was a generla one and not in response to you. I somewhat agree with you, his runs aren't always the greatest, but I think you continue to work with him on that, recognising that getting him the ball to his feet in space is where he is so dangerous.

I think the worst thing you can do with Lukaku is isolate him upfront and expect him to play with his back to goal right up against defenders, and then expect him to hold it up successfully and bring players in. In these instances his touch lets him down more often than not and he isn't able to secure the ball.

More often than not though, that is the situation Mourinho puts him in.

  5. Lukaku looks so happy man

Can't believe his luck playing with Hazard and De Bruyne. It's heaven for him

Can't believe he's not isolated upfront while everyone else defends as well, i don't even blame him at Man Yoo as Mourinho is clearly a melt of the highest order.

Mourinho should be embarrassed watching this man.

Man Utd fans will definitely be watching this with bitterness that's for sure ... will ramp up the pressure on Mourinho big time.

  6. They aren't capable of extraordinary things if they don't get the ball, you'll win and easily.

Man, I am nervous. The thing is we are not always the most disciplined defensively, and with those two on the pitch, and the likes of Higuain and Dybala to bring on ... well, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

I am very hopeful though. A very strong possibility that a draw takes us through too, and so we don't have to go too gung-ho to try and win the game, so guess we'll see how it goes.

  7. AH-MED MU-SA

    AH-MED MU-SA

    AH-MED MU-SA AH-MED MU-SAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

 My governor is one of the wildest players around. He can look like an antelope trying to play football in one match and then come back with performances like that. A great card to have in the deck, and he has proven to be a boss on the world stage. The Croatia match is behind us, Nigeria's World Cup has now started and Argentina is in our sights. We should be fair, the first half was poor, but the swagger came back after the first goal with some sweet, sweet football being played.

Musa is so up and down but still so dangerous. So worth persisting with because at any moment he can do something really fantastic. I love the guy and would always play him, because I think defenders are bamboozled by his play even due to how erratic he can be, and it causes them headaches.

That strike that rattled the cross bar man ... God I wish that had gone in. The guy was sensational.

We definitely started off nervously, and understandably so, but we kept fighting and once we scored first we re-discovered our joy of the game. So satisfying to see. Today was great. Proud of the guys.

  8. Quite enjoyed what I saw of Nigeria Kaka, hope they go far. I think Ineacho and Mussa have to start together and while I quite like Moses, considering the good positions he gets into his shooting and end product is poor. I quite like Iwobi as well, but don’t think he should start either. Big game coming up against Argentina...

Oh for goodness sake! Messi vs Ronaldo?!

The real question is how do they compare to the legend that is AHMED MUSA!!!

Hey what a surprise you were miles better with Mikel in CM and not AM :D

I have to say I was so happy with the manager today, with not just putting Iheanacho and Musa upfront together, giving us a very dynamic front line, but then going 3-5-2 and having Moses at right wing back, where he has played exclusively for the last three years at Chelsea and excelled.

This often meant Moses didn't have to be as creative running by people and could just receive the ball in more space and deliver crosses from there. And he did this very well on the first goal.

This formation also gave Obi Mikel so much more freedom in central midfield and lots of runners ahead of him to aim for, whether at wing back or upfront. He was also had two high energy midfielders beside him in Etebo and Ndidi to do all his running for him. The setup just suits us beautifully at the moment.

Very very happy. Honestly think we would have given Croatia hell with this lineup, but hey at least it was a learning experience for the manager and he did adjust very well.

The Argentina game is going to be something else man. At the end of the day with the likes of Messi and Aguero they will always be capable of doing extraordinary things, and so it's all up in the air. Ultimately though, I'm just really happy we at least showed up and have had one fantastic performance, and go into the last match with a great chance of qualifying, now confident in the way we will play and more certain of what we are doing.
