This match is just an advert for VAR. Conspiracy.

This is Horrific.
Isn't Fekir very much a number 10. Looks like he's been shunted out wide.
Can't believe Griezmann was taken out and Tolisso left on. Tolisso has been poor.
-
The talent France have wasted by hiring poor managers man. What was the last fellas name again ... Domenech I think it was. Was a clown as well from what I remember.
-
Deschamps doing Deschamps things ...
-
Nothing like Merino.

He takes a few more steps into the box THEN falls over, how is that a f***ing pen?
Did you not see that Griezmann still had a chance to tun onto the ball, but the defender then clips the back of his heel?
How are you not able to see that? Along with Lawro?
I just don't understand man.
You can have tackles which have contact after if you win the ball.
Not if it then prevents the player from getting onto the ball to have a shot on goal.
If the ball had been fully cleared away it wouldn't have been a penalty.

The replay shows the ball deviates slightly which means he touched the ball. They fucked up.Correct decision.
The only problem was the fact play carried on for like 30 seconds then he brought it all the way back. Can't stop the play evey time a player goes down in the box either though
The foul wasn't on the initial tackle. It was on the follow through, when Griezmann was about to run onto the ball.
My goodness ... go specsavers fam.

Yes! Brilliant!

Pen for the Aussies. Happy for Australia man.
Hope they score though. Unreal from Umtiti

Clips the back of his heel afterwards.

Here comes the VAR

Have France ever looked decent under Deschamps?
Why has he been there so long?

Think France need to drop one of Tolisso or Pogba for a clear number 10 that is just behind the striker, Fekir is really great int hat position.
Pogba and Tolisso don't really make runs into more forward positions in support of the strikers to cause a bit more problems.
Griezmann works really well as a 10 playing off a target man like Giroud.
Yeah, maybe that too, absolutely.
I do like Mbappe's threat in behind as the striker though.
-
Feel like Australia are going to snatch this with a thumping header from a set piece.
-
Alex Scott is an acceptable replacement for Fabregas as the punditry eye candy.
She's also a better pundit than Phil Neville.
Been impressed with her. Knows what she's on about and just comes across really well.

France need a better manager. How do you get this group of players playing such static, disjointed football? Pretty poor so far, genuinely enjoyed Morocco/Iran more.
Never thought Deschamps was up to much. Such a boring manager. Majorly culpable IMO.
-
Mbappe is the business. Super talented and explosive player.
Think the French team's issues are in midfield. I love Kante, but apart from him Pogba and Tolisso don't play with enough urgency getting the attackers the ball.
-
Man France are looking like a team that is going to bottle this world cup.
If Australia score first France will completely crumble I think.
-
Kante is the only one playing with any fire in his belly in this team.
-
"Dislocated shoelace"
Lawro man. I'll give him credit for that one
-
A lot of diving and feigning all over the place by France. Pretty tedious and they really don't need that with the quality they have.
Ref obviously not helping.
They don't have any toughness at all, and it will make them very susceptible to being upset by any team that really goes at them.
Guys like Thuram, Desailly, Vieira, Petit, Zidane ... all just seemed to be made of some sterner stuff.
Pah! Team of gooey millenials man ...
