I actually agree with what you said, but was just stating that i could not see how we could improve our style of play with Colback in there, because he kills our midfield play, which is vital to an improved style.

I said nothing about continuing to play long ball, or continuing to play Murphy. I mean ... I don't even know what to say to that at all.

I want Colback out of there, whether for Mbemba or whoever. That is my frustration really.

My mate said we looked worse when he came on, said our play at the moment is suited to having a target man upfront.

 

We need to change our style of play, then. The long ball stuff has led to far fewer goals and far more draws.

Not sure we can with Colback in the team, and Benitez isn't willing to try an alternative to him without Hayden available, which is quite vexing.

If you have a s*** midfield you have to be more direct. If you play more direct you dont use a midget as your only striker.
