All I know is that I am looking forward to him returning and playing well, which he will.
And for those of you who value Cisse over him, well good luck with that.
-
The guy showed some finishing ability in France, so there's some hope. Will be very interesting to see what happens. I'm rooting for him. He never hid, never moaned, and put in work when he was out there. I respect the guy and want him to do well.

I think Marveaux and Riviere will benefit from a more positive coaching staff. Excited to see them come back into the fold, and hopefully make some contribution going forward.

Shearer's comments are really embarrassing in my opinion.
The least of my concerns with Thauvin so far is how much he's tracking back!
Crazy remark from Shearer really. Unfortunately, quite typical of what is said when a foreigner struggles.

The abuse man. Can't believe that.

This guy has had one season in one of the most disgustingly negative teams in history.
At just 25 no way I'm giving up on him yet. He struggled badly at times, but I always liked and respected the effort he put in, and he was not weak as piss and non chalant in attitude.
Think he will prove to be a useful player for us.

So did you guys hear about Pulis playing Anichebe at holding midfield in the cup last week?!
Might be a Giggs, but had me in absolute stitches this morning when I found out.
West Brom: Why I played Victor Anichebe - Tony PulisBaggies boss explains his decision to play Victor Anichebe against Norwich
Tony Pulis defended his shock decision to start striker Victor Anichebe as a holding midfielder in the 3-0 defeat at Norwich last night.
Eyebrows were raised when the Albion boss opted to field Anichebe, in only his second start of the season, in a new position just in front of the back four.
But the West Brom boss insisted the Nigerian forward could play there after impressing in the role in training.
"When we've done games in training we've played him in the pocket and he's done exceptionally well," Pulis said.
"He did very well at times and is a good passer.
"He ran out of steam and found it a bit more difficult in there than up front."

He is no slower than Kevin Nolan. Not even close. So all this chat about not being suited is unwarranted. He has not got a run yet in the team, but once he does, his class will show.
The problem now is that Ayoze is the man in that number 10 spot, and not sure I'd play De Jong anywhere else in all honesty.

Imagine Ozil being given the freedom to do no defensive work, while people harp on about Ben Arfa man. Bloody ridiculous.
-
Think he was at big clubs when he was way too young, and before he had really proved anything, which did him no favours.
If he continues on this pace he will get a move and he will be awesome, because he would have proven himself and fully earned it.
Brilliant player.

Have to love the way Ben Arfa has always backed himself. Knew both Pardew and Bruce were frauds, and wouldn't go out of his way to appease them by playing at right back. He just laughed in their faces.
Smart move then going somewhere that would just give him the freedom to affect the areas of the pitch he is ridiculously talented in exploiting.
Now maybe when a bigger club goes for him they will afford him that respect and just let the man play his game.

The guy even helps Newcastle fans pull hot French babes.
Pardew deserves to be shanked.
-
Two managers of two terrible teams last year, saw fit to blame this guy for all of their problems, rather than admit they were awful managers and use him to make themselves look better. Absolute cowardice.
-
Man ... this whole thing is just such a downer. Very depressing for Newcastle.
Really happy for him. Hope he's made a centre piece in the France team and dominates the Euros next year.
-
The guy just needs to be brought along a bit slower. By no means done for yet.
-
Yes. Centre back and right back by trade.
-
The defending was more down to De Jong being out of it I thought. Dude was woozy , so we decided not too risk it with ten men essentially.
Looked like we were set to swing it in until we realised he was badly caught and needed extensive treatment.
-
Wijnaldum so dejected man. Damn.
-
Incredibly proud of the guys today. Unreal stuff.
-
Mbabu owned Pedro in his debut. What a man. What a man!
-
Absolutely filthy from Ramires by the way. Dirty pig.

Sissoko is a disgrace man. Infuriating person.
Shut up man ffs Kaka.
He's such an ass! Bloody hopeless!
-
Sissoko doesn't even know to come off slowly!
