38 pages for the Rafa thread! Janey seems to have reappeared and has posted links to any tweet / article that hints at Rafa leaving!
  2. The £400m figure is an absolute joke - a big factor in us staying up was Kenedy so £20m - £25m needs to be knocked straight off then you need to consider the disgraceful state of the training ground and SJP which is deteriorating at a quick rate. The main reason we stayed up was Rafa and if he walked then you can wipe out many millions off the value. I hate the fat wanker!
  3. Few good comments on RAWK Forum; He wont go to West Ham. I agree. Just not what he is about. It would be a huge wrench to leave the supporters up in Newcastle. Even at the lowest ebb here under the pair of weapons did he leave. He just couldn`t bring himself to do it. Benitez is only ruthless in his football management, turns into a total sop imo once a group of people take him to heart. The way your fans have been with him, he'll try his best to find a path with Ashley. If every route is blocked - you really have no excuse for not spending 60 - 80 mil next season - he leaves having done a superb job. Edit: Perfect time to have it out and bring matters to a head, he's had 3 less than satisfactory windows, even the Newcastle fans must know it's a pointless charade to fight for top half every season with one hand behind your back when you know, as a manager, you can aim for the top 6 and trophies just by being run competently. If the information you're getting is Ashley's still Ashley....well, the decision's made for you.
  4. For those using their owners as a reason as to why he wouldn't go there (which is amazing in itself with our twat of an owner!)........ “I have a lot of respect for West Ham because, when I was in contact with them, they were really good and professional,” while Sullivan said: “Rafa Benitez was within three hours of signing for us. “Every clause in his contract was agreed and then he went to Real Madrid. It was a real blow because he is a really experienced manager in England and did really well in Italy. “We had an agreement in place but you have to pick yourself up, look who else is available and pick the best you can.”

I expected five or six pages but I should have known better! 17 so far! Hopefully it turns out like their last few long Rafa threads turned out! https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/rafa-west-ham-keen-sky-sperts.1431109/
  6. Betrayed?!?!?!?!?! He has been “betrayed” in three consecutive windows by his current wanker of an owner. Free transfers not allowed to happen and no idea of the budget. If he goes there then I’m certain that he’ll have a guaranteed set budget and be able to sign whoever he wants without interference from idiots who don’t know anything about football.
  7. Eh? He’s been pissed about in three consecutive windows and if this one looks like going the same way and a huge transfer budget with better wages is offered to him elsewhere then you couldn’t blame him one bit There is only one wanker to blame if he goes
  8. Unbelievable - well actually it’s not
  9. "Genuinely concerned about it" and "Ashley pissing about again" from an ITK :'( :'( :'( :'(
  10. I think he just had one horrendously bad injury, then a follow up which was probably linked to still being a little weak after being out so long i guess. Or just bad luck. Hasn't had an injury this season I don't think. He did aye and it cost him a mega money move to Liverpool or Spurs!
  11. £9 million for five and a half months work man in which he was detested by their fans and improved their league position by a whopping five places! I detest that fat-headed fraud!
  12. Met him about a month after we went down in Ocean Beach Club in Ibiza on a Sunday afternoon and had a good bit waffle with him and he said he’d love to play for us under Rafa in the Premier League and waxed lyrical about our support, the stadium and the potential of the cloob so I can 100% see it happening if Rafa is keen! Really good lad actually especially when he got the round in

The last few pages of that ‘Newcastle FC’ thread are glorious! Reiver is the bitterest man alive!
  16. Lascelles; “I can’t emphasise how important it is. Since he’s been here, the club has been on the rise. He’s got the club together, the city together, and everything has been positive. The players love him, a manager of that level who’s been at big clubs and won trophies, you’ve got to do all you can to hold onto him. Look how he’s got us playing. People say we wouldn’t gel together and we’re a Championship side, well if that’s the case then the manager has got us all together and we’re sat in the middle of the table. As players, we’ve got to cross the white line but we follow instructions from somewhere, and that’s the gaffer. The club have got to keep him happy”

'You can sort marketing, commercial, the academy, but if you don't have power here, at the front, the train doesn't go. 'You need power and then you can pull whatever you want. You have to put the priority (on the engine) and after the other carriages will follow.”

  20. Dunno if it’s an omen but we were around 16/1 when we beat Man City in the cup when Aaron’s scored. I remember the price jumped when the team news came out I've got £10 on us tonight and £5 on us to win our last two - 118/1 on 365
  21. I don't think I've ever seen us as high as 16/1! Sober Paully won't touch it but I'll no doubt put something on it when I'm in London
  22. Just football now mate since they folded
  23. Yep - it’s really popular as a boozer - good prices especially the happy hour(s!) and a good pint! I was there outside from 10.45 - 8.30 yesterday and it was bouncing all day! Like I was when I left ha ha!
  24. Our match might be on TV on Sunday if this score remains!
  25. You can’t complain with £5 to get in and that included a pint!
