  1. My double appears to be coming off. Put £13 and change on Liverpool - City to draw when it was HT at 6/5. Also put Spurs (d no b) on at 4/9.
  2. He'll end up with 12 goals this season, baffling.
  3. Yeah, that's certainly the way it looks whenever he faces Drogba.
  4. He didn't play. IF Mattock didn't play either. Bit of a random one to bring up.
  5. The face on Bob Matthews there, fuck off you Italian prick.
  6. Taylor hasn't looked a goal threat at all this season tbh.
  7. Depends if Butt retires and Barton can stay fit. He's a better defender on his own merit this year though.
  8. We all know he's not particularly quick and he isn't the strongest either. It's about finding a way to adapt your game to the demands of english football. Plenty have done it, very few did it in their first season behind a woeful, woeful midfield.
  9. He said 'before he picked up his injury'. Harewood should have been signed up on Jan 1st.
  10. And the best defender, he has to stay there. Barton will be back soon.
  11. We've scored 12 goals in our last 3 home games and 1 goal in our last 3 games on the road. This, like it or not is partly down to Hughton.
  12. Colo and someone else. Seriously though, Colo and Taylor as things stand.
  13. Ranger does the basics ok but doesn't look like a striker to me at all.
  14. Never said it was. It just isn't looking good for Leon at the moment. He's looked very poor for us and his old team are playing better without him.
  15. Hate to say it but Coventry's form has completely turned around since they sold him.
  16. I agree with this. Came over for my first game against coventry and was amazed at how poor Carroll is on the ground in open play. But as a striker he gets into the positions and is scoring regularly. So at home great but on the road with one up front I don't think he's the best option. Hes saved our ass away from home more than one occassion, Lovenkrands cant play lone striker. once? Stoke away last season, Swansea Away this season are the only ones that come to mind at the moment, but him and Nolan have scored alot of our goals away from home this season, fair enough you can say because Hughton plays both of them upfront in the 4-4-1-1 formation away from home nearly all of the time, but hes our most effective striker on the road this season. Havent got the stats with me at the moment, Im not sure wether its him or Amoebi who has more goals from a ST position. I think Carroll is our best option as a striker when were playing away from home. He's scored twice away, Swansea and one when we got beat at Blackpool. Twice away in the cup as well, who is our highest scoring striker away from home, is it Shola? Has to be Nolan man.
  17. cant believe this club has come to this. Most of us got used to it 6 months ago.
