Get it? -
It's a shame that wanting the ball, keeping the ball and then actually doing something with it seems to count for nowt then.

A week past saturday. If your telly is really a laptop with a dodgy reception. -
Fuck that, most of us who went are in complete agreement that Guthrie pissed all over him.
-
Because he played higher up the pitch and got the end of a few wasted chances? Nolan was average tonight.
-
He looked very accomplished tonight. He doesn't really stick out too often but most of our attacks are started by him getting the ball with very little on and picking out the right man in the right position. I love seeing him in the middle.
-
He looks so quick, reminds me of Dyer in the way he seems to skip over the ground.
-
 He's unproven in the top league, having only been there for a season and a half. He's a good player and our best midfielder as things stand, never said owt beyond that.
-
He's a magnificent athlete like. Fantastic to watch him run 60 yards and then do it again without breaking sweat 20 seconds later.
-
8 games no wins so far i believe in premiership West Brom. i don't count that, as that was team selection and preparation As opposed to Nolan's?
-
A winger, an actual winger. Looks absolutely brilliant in this league so far.

How were the CB's at fault? What on earth does a player have to do for an 8 btw? Routledge almost won the game by himself. We were average tonight man, first 30 mins were awful, even when they went to 10 men we kept giving them the ball from sloppy passes & clearances. 4-1 flattered us and i think would of probably would of been 2-1 if they had kept 11 men on. I was suprised you gave four players a rating of at least 8 for a fairly average overall performance. The defending for the goal was poor in general, everyone seemed to just stand still as Morrison put it in, Harper's positioning was a bit off as i feel he should of been able to push it wide at the speed it rolled in at. Routledge and Jonas most certainly weren't average.
-
He's a completely unproven young player and non-geordie. He's a very easy target.
-
The first 35 minutes underlined the problem with Hughton. When the players use their own initiative they look so much more effective compared to when they stick to Hughton's plan. I said to the bloke next to me that we'd start playing after Morrison scored.
-
Aye, you'd be. As would I tbh. The general public in Newcastle thought he did a good job last season though, it's embarrassing.

Why's he taking them all then? As he did for Keegan btw.
-
I was confident everytime he got the ball. His corners were pretty damn good too.

Harper - Solid enough, one dodgy moment. 6 Simpson - Looks much better with a proper winger in front of him. 6.5 Williamson - Solid, a couple of misplaced headers but looks a very good foil for Colo. 7 Coloccini - He's the f***ing boss. 8 Van Aanholt - Did ok, a little too negative in possession but defended well enough. 6 Routledge - Tore them a new arsehole, pace, trickery, crossing and what a f***ing goal, my motm. 9 Guthrie - HAS to stay in the middle, but probably wont. Has his weaknesses but I absolutely love his right foot. 8 Nolan - Better in that he was involved in two key moments in either half, still the weak link in the midfield though. 6 Jonas - He would be 'f***ing dynamite' if he had an end product, beat his man so many times I lost count. 8.5 Carroll - Still poor on the ground but I coudn't care less if he continutes to score with his head, fair play. 7 Lovenkrands - Should have scored his header, covered a little too much ground if anything. 6 Best - First impressions aren't great tbh, but we'll see. 5 Pancrate - Fair play to him, ran around and was involved in the final goal. 6 R Taylor - Nice enough finish. 6

Good team that, impressed. There's no excuse for not turning that rubbish over.

He's a midfielder, he's reponsible for passing, breaking up the play and generally driving the team forward. He does this very, very rarely and should have been dropped or at least rested long ago.
