  1. That's Mancini's influence, Lescott is a good defender. Not that they've stopped leaking goals mind. Before sunday they'd conceded 8 in their last 4 games.
  2. I couldn't care less how we get the points. What i do care about is the fact that our wins seem to be predicated on very little. You and I both know that a single defensive mistake in a game is likely to cost us points given our impotent attack. This isn't the case for Brom and Forest and it worries me.
  3. Amazed Gary Cahill doesn't have more votes given his ridiculous hype.
  4. I don't like relying on the defence as much as we do, just like i posted 3 months back that I didn't like relying on Nolan's goals. We have no balance as an effective unit. We all saw what happened when Colo got injured, we dropped points against QPR and Bristol and when Taylor joined him on the sidelines we lost to Forest and Scunthorpe.
  5. Jonas clearly dived against Palace in the first half. Most who noticed it just found it funny because it was so blatant.
  6. We're not top of the league because of the way we attack.

    Wasted Talent

He was a top player. Far too much was made of his weaknesses while here.

    Giles Barnes

    Far riskier then Dyer?

    Wasted Talent

Viduka, Dyer, Bramble, Woodgate, Calogero from A Bronx Tale.
  10. Raul and Juan Pablo, how long before they end up doing each other's hair and spraying each other with instantan.
  11. Heskey has to go on account of his proven partnership with Rooney. In the group stage especially, we KNOW they'll perform.

    U23s & Academy

This Inman sounds a bit tasty. Lord knows we could do with a midfielder with a bit of an engine.
  13. Nobody is holding a gun to Hughton's head and telling him to play long-ball football. It results in us constantly losing the ball and creating absolutely fuck all.
  14. Tbf, they get penalties because they have pace and directness in the team.
  15. I first noticed him during that very game at WC 2006, which was a month before my 20th birthday. So yes, teenage years it is. It's nice that you're looking through match reports from 4 years ago to try and prove me wrong but it's a matter of opinion at the end of the day, he had a very good game at CB against two very good strikers imo.
  16. My word. Impressively accurate isnt it You've seen Williamson once or twice and are saying he's better than Colo at everything but passing and calmness? Your views on Colo are actually as pathetic and biased as the views on 'still world class' Michael Owen.
  17. At fault for what? If I was being petty i'd ask why it didn't show him hitting the bar from 30 yards either btw.
  18. Colo was a mid table defender in La Liga who joined a mid table club in the Pl & now plays in CCC. Woodgate at the time was playing for one of the top teams in the PL & moved to one of the biggest clubs in the world on the back of the games. They are nowhere f***ing near each other in ability. f***ing Nando's (Leeds) must be adding a "special" ingredient for its most regular customer. Tbf to Colo he does not know the name of our physio never mind have Dickie Steadman's home number on speed dial. Aye, a 'mid-table defender' who started (and performed brilliantly) in a world cup QF for Argentina.
  19. http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/5699/gdbgv.jpg That'll do.
  20. Rooney Defoe Heskey Crouch all have to go, no question. I'd take a 5th striker in either Agbonlahor or Bent.
  21. Well he was probably one of their two best defenders, so of course it would look better. He was a brilliant player, not saying any less. What I am saying is that his decision making looked off at times, as i'd expect with most players playing in a new league.
