Really wish the Chronicle would stop with these stories... http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/im-really-optimistic-newcastle-could-14156744 -
To close the shortfall between what he wants to sell the club for and what he ends up getting
-
No senior forwards for today’s dry humping from Cardiff!
-
So they’re replacing Vaughan and Grabban with a fella who isn’t as prolific as Grabban. That sounds like it’s going to end well ??. Ironically Vaughan probably now has a better chance of playing in the Championship next season than his former team mates! It’ll be hilarious to see how much like big time Charlie’s their noncey fans feel next year when they’re in League One selling out their allocation at the likes of Rochdale and Bury
-
Plus we still have OPEX for the year - player and staff wages, bills etc..... There’ll be ways and means around it but there’s a reluctance for to do so.... I’ve actually wondered if the HMRC stuff is impacting player recruitment as well. We will be so much under scrutiny that the brown envelopes will have been taken out of action

No he isn't. He's one of the better journos out there and hates Ashley and co. Maybe out of desperation he thinks his article might force Amanda Staveleys hand? -

What’s Ashley’s current shareholding in Sports Direct? -
https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/adam-johnson.1411580/page-25 Just wow! The posts on this thread are rancid. Apparently AJ has done more to prevent grooming by raising its profile, and someone is even trying to draw similarities to Nelson Mandela. They really are a different breed!

Sports Direct own the rights to our merch store i'm fairly certain. I think it’s franchised out. Don’t we pay SD for the stock? -

I’m a reflector and I’ve been through everything that’s been published and shared on here and I come to the same conclusion that this is going to happen. With Ashley at the helm our brand is toxic, and if there was little chance of this happening PCP would have wanted to be disassociated as quickly as possible and the NDA would be dead in the water. I still think the curry house was the pivotal moment to this happening. If they’ve agreed the high level principles of the deal it will be in the hands of the lawyers to draw up the many contracts etc that will be required. Still reckon this new limited company is part of the process but as has been mentioned on here they’re not going to come out and admit it as that all but confirms the deal is done. It’s really difficult to predict when this will happen. Having worked on projects before where NDAs are signed sometimes the communication piece can take time due to getting stuff signed off etc. Either way I doubt we will here a thing till Ashley is back from his jollies. I’d expect any press release to pay tribute to his time at the club etc etc. So we just have to wait I guess. Which is a shame because it consumes so much of my time trawling the internet for the slightest nugget of information. -
Walcott would be a great signing mind.... Deeney on loan would be bearable, at least he’s proven to score at this level

It does feel like the press know something like. Not one single media outlet mentioning the setup of this new limited company. Gonna be a long day at work refreshing Twitter!! -
They could get less than that and still be like a win away from safety judging how it's gone at the bottom of the Championship this season. It's shite like. They should be well adrift by now yet they're 2 points from safety ffs. Jammy cunts If they lose to both Hull and Birmingham a gap starts to appear though......
-
Next 3 in the league are Cardiff, Brum and Hull. If they don’t get at least 4 points from those 3 they could be royally fucked.

I agree that it’s probably a done deal now too. I reckon the curry house photo was carefully orchestrated to coincide with the fact they’d shook on a deal. I also reckon we will use the loan market to our advantage in the window too as the players we bring in will be to do a job, ie keep us in the Premier League and might not be part of the “project” vision. Do what we need to do this year, and have a good go next season. I’ve followed Newcastle for over 30 years and I’ve lost count the amount of times that line has been rolled out, but with some sensible spending and new impetus under new owners maybe this time we have reason to believe. -
