Completely agree with that. Huntelaar is definitely a better player than Crouch. I just think Crouch will form a better partnership with Defoe and won't be a gamble.

Yeah, but for some reason - play him as a striker and looks woeful upfront.

I know Huntelaar is a better player than these two, but Kuyt and Afonso Alves scored bundles in the Dutch league too. Crouch is tried and tested and contributes his fair share of goals and assists.

Agree with KD there, Crouch and Defoe had a pretty good partnership at Pompey too. Big man and small man combo.

I still think it'll be the same 'top 4'. Man City haven't bought any decent defenders (yet) and I don't think their strikeforce will gel until next season. Liverpool have got no chance of winning the Premiership unless they bring in another striker. Also whether Rafa's got the mentality for it is another matter. After that 'rant', Fergie's got the upper hand.
