Croatia lacking a lot of mobility in midfield and up front
They were always going to find it tough when that golden midfield they had left - added with Mario Mandzukic up top - was a peak time for them -

Brian Kerr is spot on - the big clubs used the threat of a Super League to get the rules in play to protect their interests.
Have always said the Super League was a smokescreen to hide what was being cooked up for the Champions League all along -

I think he would have. He made it clear he didn’t want to stay, Guardiola confirmed it.
He wanted to leave for about 2 years
In Savio they had his replacement lined up

I would rather sign Iheanacho on a short term deal to see if Howe can get him back on track than commit £20 million on DCL.
I am sure if we could invest freely then he wouldn’t be someone we would consider. However, that isn’t the case and with Tosin going to Chelsea then we might need to spend on another centre back too.
I like Gordon up top if Isak is out, his movement in the box when he isn’t in possession is high level, arguably better than Isak in that department.
I disagree that Gordon should be up top if Isak is injured -,Gordon stays on the wing and only plays as the 9 if we are desperate - we should never be in this position -

Didn't they kick Juventus out of the Conference League this year?
Think Juve volunteered to be kicked out - easy way out

Was full-time after 1-1 with Arsenal, the game when Robert was sent off.
Yes!! I knew that was SBR being angry with something -
Love what Joe and Bruno were wearing - 96/97 Big Al vibes?

Not kit related but in that video when Sir Bobby is shouting well played. Fuckin class that
I think something happened when he did that - was either a playing getting stick off the crowd or the team getting heat off the crowd -

Villa, ourselves, Chelsea, Forest, Leicester and Everton ay
Just six clubs that had or have ambition which is now a bad thing and banned henceforth.
If you don't have ambition or just give up that's fine.
What a mess.
Chelsea took the piss imo - so have no sympathy for them - the rest I agree -

Chelsea won’t he signing a new keeper this summer according to their journalists.
That’s right - they’ll be signing 3 new goalkeepers -

Forest only want £40m for gibbs white.
I might be talking complete nonsense here - say Forest agreed a fee with Wolves for 40 - so far they’ve paid 30, the additional 10 means they are over FFP so need to sell before any further FFP charges? -

Only way we’re getting him is if the Tosin deal doesn’t happen.
Don’t know - I think we may sign a young CB with a eye on Schar departing next summer - Kelly you would assume will compete with Hall -

A three year deal benefits him just as much as us, if he does well he can negotiate a much better deal quickly and if he wants to move on he can negotiate himself a nice signing on fee somewhere else.
I guess we will have ‘an option of a further year’ in the contract and trigger it if needs be -

Who are these transformative right wingers that we are going to buy though?
We rarely seem to get linked with right wingers I think the only ones were very tentative links to Olise, Chiesa and Bowen
I’d snap your hands off if offered Mbeumo, M Soule and S Killiscoy (Turkish kid)

I said it during the warm ups too - Tino looks a natural and can slot as a LB when required - Tripps basically sacrifices the majority of his strengths
