Starts today, as expected I guess.
Any coverage in the UK of the Dutch league?

He’s got the pace, stamina and attitude to reduce a good few wingers into misery, I reckon.
Ultimately doesn’t have enough about him to be a modern FB but he can apply himself to the WB role pretty well.He takes Ritchie’s spot
Burn takes Dummett
Massive upgrades in squad depth

Hybrid right sided forward who can cover Isak would be ideal, the lad from Sporting would have been great.
Yep but there will always be players out thereMy preference is MGW (CM/RW) - you could take a punt on a Morgan Whitaker but that’s risky - if we can, Sesko.

Given what we've seen today with Gordon on the right....
Do we need a RW?
Just wondering what people think going forward. Even if Barnes is injured, Anderson or Joelinton could play out on the left.
We need a winger for sure - have to look to continuously improve - you want to be in a position if you lose or bring on a player, they are of a similar level -

Never know why some people are keen to slate him. Very solid squad player, one of my cult favourites.
These type of players are so valuable

Well that's the normal process, unless Peterborough did something weird and sold their own sell-on clause to us so they got the entire amount at the time.
£8m he went for. We were to get 25% and £2m, or nothing then and they got the full amount thinking that's a good deal and miles away from making £2m more on a resale. A gamble we could afford, the instant cash would mean more to them.
Just guessing like. Only way I could see that happening.
Yeah that’s the only possible scenario - well here’s hoping that’s true! -

Last year, come back hasn't been explosive and Brentford aren't doing very well at all.
Minus the sale of Wilson (or swap) and remove that & clause we apparently still have (not sure how true) but that could be £30m for us, and a really good competition for Isak.
But we sold him to Peterborough who then sold him to Brentford? So I don’t get where the clause is? -
Was the Sela deal included in the 22:23 accounts? I am assuming no? Likewise Noon would have been a part payment as they joined during the season?

Pope more likely than Wilson I think.
Aye - forgot Miley too - although the extent of his injury hasn’t really been disclosedWith Targett I have given up on him

Is Willock likely to be in the squad for this, even if he is managing an injury?
I doubt we see him back this seasonTino - Trippier - Miggy - Wilson should return in the next 2/3 weeks I reckon

Ederson is just shadowing MacAllister.
Good player - my preference is Y Fofana still (may be a bit cheaper)

Good option this guy - more of a mature Hall - similar styles -
It’s still a league that produces good players - yes the level may not be the highest but you can still get some good players from
the likes of the big 3 - Alkmaar, Utrecht etc

Seen enough of MGW to know that he would be a perfect fit for us. I know he plays as 10 for Forest but his skill set means he could play as an 8 or wide.
Would be a brilliant signing imo - right side of mid or RWF - such a versatile player - bring back Minteh and that right side is looking a lot better -
I’d defo be bringing him back - he’s also a 3rd choice CF option too

With him on the right we finally have someone to link up with Isak - Barnes is developing a nice little link to
The 3 combine very nicely

Thought he did well in a difficult work environment. This is the experience he needs that he won't be getting by not playing.
This is why the last 9 games which he will most likely get now will be invaluable for him - learn, assess your game, work hard in pre season and he’ll be a different player next seasonFWIW I reckon we will sign 2 hybrid LCB/LB players in the summer - one of them most likely be a starter at LB the other at CB
-
I think that’s him for the season
Really worrying that this has been ongoing for the whole season more or less now

That Burn decision no different to Big Joe vs Arsenal

Would be interested in Branthwaite from Everton. Caught my eye playing for England last summer and looked good apart from the Isak goal when we played them. Wonder if he has a relegation release clause. Could be a future England CB.
He’s a great talent but if we iare FFP hamstrung are better shopping abroad
