Then on Weds it was on TNT5 - thank goodness as I can’t be bothered watching 1 full match - plus the panelist’s on the goals show make it really watchable

Yeah he’s defo not a 9 - more of a RWF

For him to be playing CL football is just incredible - if he continues this way it will be a fantastic loan - I wouldn’t even mind another season at Feyenoord - Dutch football really suits his game

We are too often playing with a flat 5 in midfield - he needs someone behind him and 2 either side of him to be at his most dangerous - pretty much isolated all the time 

Our midfield 3 is my biggest worry - in terms of its shape - it just isn’t working this season - nothing fluid about it

I just don’t like how we are set up in midfield - it’s just too predictable 

Either we play with a double or single pivot - I hope it’s the former - should be Tonali and Bruno sitting - then Anderson - Willock - Joe - Isak or Gordon on front

Yeah the academy is very much in keeping with the 5 year plan - still a way to go - good thing is we are starting from the bottom and the only way is up

It is admirable that he is standing by him up to a point.  But then I would also put some blame on Southgate himself.  When he keeps picking him, when he has no business being in the team and just keeps making error and gives more ammo to the media and the boo boys.   

I mean I can sort of understand why Southgate picks him as he has generally done ok for Eng BUT at the same time if England have aspirations to put themselves in contention then you need to have a squad of players who are playing regularly (some may be rotated like a Foden) 

Maguire is totally frozen by Man U - losing game time with every passing week

Stones - Guehi should be the pairing - then Dunk, Tomori next in line - with the likes of Mings, Colwill, et al competing when available
