It's completely rocked our cohesion too. Players feel all out of rhythm with eachother. You've got a blend of players who have played way too much and players who have barely started their season. Injuries are absolutely still a factor.
-
An unprecedented injury crisis has clearly rocked us badly and we're struggling to get the train back on the tracks. Players are back now, I really think we just need a couple of wins to build a bit of confidence and momentum to finish the season strongly. Get Pope back in from next month, get that defensive stability back, and attack the last quarter of the season. Expectations have risen massively - we're still in the hunt for Europe and still in the cup (albeit probably not for another round ) Howe is the man, still completely back him.
-
Can we get you in to do some coaching? Gonna blow Eddie's mind this. Proper fairytale stuff that some rando with a keyboard is a management savant.
-
If you can't see that Howe has tried to tweak the way we set up with limited options then I don't know what to tell you. It's not as simple as "just change the formation". This isn't FIFA. You can argue about Howe's decisions, but calling him incompetent is just ridiculous.
-
The "just change the tactics" crowd is almost as tiresome as the "fatigue isn't real" crowd earlier in the season. Simplistic nonsense
-
Gee, what could possibly have limited our options for the majority of the season. Glad we've got N-Os best and brightest on the case, shame Eddie is so thick eh
-
such laughable opinions. Proper bottom of the barrel nonsense. Should have your keyboard confiscated
-
Sure, but there's an element which will complain no matter what. If we'd lost Bruno to a late yellow when the game was gone and lose him for 2 winnable games, it'd be how stupid Howe is for risking it in a game that's gone.
-
Hence needing the old Botman back. Or Pope tbh, Dubravka isn't a bad keeper but he changes how we set up and it's not working at the moment
-
We're still right in the hunt for top 7 despite this. Win the next one at home, go on a run, it's still absolutely doable. Need the old Botman back, having a Trippieresque run of form here
-
Ah that's fucking shit. God dammit. We looked like pushing too
-
Let's just wrap the club up, can't get injuries if you never play a game. I take it all back, you're a genius
-
Can't fucking wait to hear how Dan fucking his back is something Howe should've predicted
-
Is anyone other than the relentlessly negative crowd actually suggesting this is due to fatigue? Some of you are proper embarrassing like.
-
Nah mate, incompetence innit. Probably Howe's 3rd cousin or something. Nepotism at it's worst. Heard he stuck razorblades in his shoes pre-match as well, some kind of wacky ritual Eddie learned in his travels. You have to ask yourself if an elite manager would fall for that
-
What a fucking finish
-
We'd run out of subs in the first half if we took off every player who picks up a knock
-
Gordon twisted his knee, how the fuck are you blaming that on management? Awful fanbase
-
What even happened there
-
Strong team, lots of pace on the counter. Feeling quite confident

Bruno is getting booked tonight, place your bets. When I saw us in 2005 Shearer was injured. When I saw us in 2012 Ben Arfa was injured. Have a ticket for West Ham at the end of March and I'm cursed to never see my favourite player live
-
Targett was brilliant for us during his loan. The wages you can argue about, but £15m in the context of that time for a player in a position we needed cover in, English, ahead of or just coming into his prime, was great business. It really was a no brainer. It obviously hasn't worked out due to injury etc., but it was pretty well regarded as a great signing when we made it.

My favourite ever player tbh, just an absolute joy to watch. Bring him home.
