Willock injured again? Jesus Christ.
-
Gordon again, good attempt. Also the commentator pronouncing the h in Anthony is so annoying
-
Great effort Gordon. Looking better last 5
-
Really great ball from Longstaff, credit where it's due there
-
Never seen Howe look so angry. So many players are so passive today.
-
Longstaff, is he broken? Just showed no desire to get on the end of Gordon's through ball there
-
Howe looks angry, rightly so
-
Need to wake up here, lot of sloppy passing. Lucky to be level
-
A fresh Gordon will be a big boost - I am a little concerned about the rest of our energy levels after a Tuesday game. On paper we've got enough to beat any side Fulham put out.
-
What was this? It's not loading on my shit internet
-
Have to explore every possibility before moving stadium imo, it should be a last resort only used if there's absolutely no way to compete financially without it. Because once we move, there would be no going back.
-
Make the rule that the Luxury Tax goes into the lower levels of the pyramid. There we go, we're not buying success, we're propping up the clubs less fortunate than us. Proper saintly really.
-
Completely agree. Being able to build a sustainable squad without having our hands tied behind our backs is all I want.
-
I just want us to be able to build a squad that will keep momentum and encourage our best players to stick around without having to keep cheap squad players around that aren't good enough anymore. I don't necessarily want us to suddenly go full City, but the way these arbitrary rules have hamstrung us up til now is ridiculous.

I think a number of those can be attributed to the sheer number of games those players have had to play as a result of the freak injuries limiting our ability to rotate or even sub players off during a game. I'm sure it will be looked at in the summer, whether the way we play or train has contributed it a meaningful way to the number of players out, but in my (uninformed obviously) opinion it doesn't get anywhere close to as bad as it has been without the pressure applied by the unprecedented freak injuries.
-
Exactly, throw in TWO broken backs and a long-term gambling ban as well. How do you ever plan for that
-
People should be respectful and I've fallen foul of not doing that myself too often of late. But being respectful doesn't mean you can post whatever nonsense you want without expecting push back on it, it just means trying not to make it personal. If you put an opinion out there it's open season tbh, just on the opinion not the poster
-
Can only assume he's desperate to avoid throwing anyone under the bus there, no way he actually believes that
-
Think he'd really shine with a run in the team. Hopefully a Gordon-arc for him, bits and pieces in his first season, then he's absolutely flying in his second when he's onboard with our style of play
-
That Ben Arfa esque dribble at the end. My fucking word. If he had pace he'd be the best player in the world, what a player
-
It was the most pen pen to ever pen
-
Yeah we were clearly going for it like, nightmare finishing let us down and as the game wore on doubt crept in and we had no bench to switch it up with. Frustrating as fuck but I wouldn't say we sat back by any means or were happy to hold onto the 1 goal lead
-
Then why post that straight after a game we improved in? Oh because it's nonsense used to fit an agenda. So when we do well it's because it's expected and when we do poorly it's not good enough? Without an unprecedented injury list, yes
-
I'm gutted for him he didn't get his goal. Imagine scoring at home while wearing the armband would've meant the world to him. Deserved it too after that performance
-
Played well against City, that feels a fucking lifetime ago now. Has to go in the summer. Not good enough. Unbelievable decision to make in that situation.
