  1. Yeh I read that he said he felt they were the dominant side, the difference was we were far more clinical.... whatever Gillot

Think Anita isnt living up to the bill as of yet. Willing him to give him a season to get to grasps with the teams style and the pace and physicality of the league. At the moment he either hangs onto the ball too long and get tackled, or misplaces a hoofed ball forward. Lots of improvement in him.
  3. He was good, think he just needs to lay the ball off a bit quicker. But that will come with match sharpness.
  4. 10 points enough to qualify generally .. would be great to finish top though

How was Tav when he came on against Reading? Do you think Good could be close to getting a look in UEFA Cup with a view to increasing the depth.

His strengths as a manager far outweigh his weaknesses. Good deal. Would be good to bring a coach in to help improve the attacking build up of of our play.
  12. Hes a very very good defensive mid .. an ok right back and a decent centre-half. His tackling, attitude and workrate are immense. Has the ability to play a killer pass as well.
  13. my bad, the time difference gets to me. All this happens when Im in bed generally.
  14. There was a segment on our national football review show on Curtis Good. Willie Donachie was saying that Pardew has asked for Good to be played at left back in recent games with a view to fast tracking him into the first team, due to a lack of options. Said theres a good chance he will make his debut very soon. Interesting.

  16. Sorry if Giggs, in the Liverpool documentary, there is a segment in Rodgers house, where it flashes to a giant self portrait of himself on the wall of his house. What a knob head!
  17. Can tell you now: Man U/Man City/Arsenal/Liverpool/Spurs v NUFC Chelsea vs Blyth Spartans Last 2 years we have been completely shit against Stevenage and Brighton. No FA Cup Tie is easy.

It wasnt worth the risk at all to be honest. It was a stupid thing to do. The team comes way ahead of any individual of their confidence. Had he scored and kick started his season then the team benefits from that, I doubt any of them thought he would miss it. Yes at 1-0 it was a risk but I 100% understand why they tried it. But thats really not the point. It was a game we were desprate to win, HBA had the ball and wanted to take it after scoring the one against Spurs and Jonas and Ba talked him out of it. At 2 or 3 nil I would totally agree with you, but at 1-0 it was a daft thing to do and acould have cost us. Poor Hatem. Let him do what he wants when he wants.

Think he would flourish even more once Cabaye is back to full form, Tiote is consistantly fit and Anita adapts to the pace and physicality of the league. A midfield three would allow us to dictate games more, which is what I think we need to make HBA even more effective than he already is.
