  1. Positives: Ba, Santon, Coloccini, Krul and HBA all performed admirably. Tiote needs to get his act together. He's getting paid a truck load of money, be professional. Negatives: Referee, Jonas, Simpson backing off macshit all the time
  2. Mignolet; Rose, O'Shea, Cuellar, Colback; Larsson, Johnson, McClean, Gardner; Sessegnon, Fletcher Mignolet Colback Oshit Cuntlar Rose Larrson Gardener Johnson Sessengon McPimpleHead Fletcher
  3. Think of the oppo, they play a rigid 4-4-2, Pardew is backing our central two to beat theirs. And so they should. Not happy using but i can see why. As long as either Ba and Shola drop in to help defend against either Colback or Meyer/Gardener its not an issue. Assuming Sessengon plays in the hole.
  4. Bench is good to change things:any of Anita, Ferguson, Cisse and Obertan can all come on and really influence the game.
  5. Krul; Simpson, Williamson, Coloccini ©, Santon; Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Tiote, Gutierrez; Ba, Shola Ameobi.
  6. I think hell pick Perch .. who do the mackems have that can beat us aerially .. only Fletcher and O'shea?
  7. Perchy or Williamson .. Think id take Perch coz hes a better tackler.
  8. Same Mouthing off's meaningless though. Just gives us as fans a chance to get pumped up. I'm confident simply because we have a better team and based on probability alone, there's no way we can be as s*** as we have been so far this season even when we are shit we have only lost to Man Utd and Chelsea, the top two sides in the league at the moment. The worst case we come out with a draw if we play shit. If we play well (its about time) im fairly sure we can claim bragging rights again.
  9. I can not talk for England, but in Norway this game is pretty hyped in the studios before the match. Always talk about nasty challenges, rivalry etc. Last year they had a 5-10 min movie about the area, people and why it was such a fierce rivalry. Talked about the stance in wars, coal mining etc Loved it. Thats great. We will probably get something a little similar. But the headlines are hogged by the successful clubs. People here are more interested in Man Utd v Chelsea than a Newcastle/Sunderland derby. f***ing Australians. Its the same here mate, manu v chelsea is more hyped, as man u have a big following here. But this derby get some attention, and newcastle nearly always is shown on TV. Yeh we get every match over here, Europe League as well. So Im not complaining. 8:30 pm kick off on Sunday .. so it is perfect. I live in Australia but have been brought up to genuinely hate Sunderland AFC. All my friends that are "Australian Rules Football" fans dont understand how you can hate another team so much. Our local derby is Fremantle v West Coast and there are no security separating the fans, thats how tame it nis.

  11. To me this is the fiercest derby in the Premier League, far more passion and hatred than Everton/Liverpool, Spurs/Arsenal, Man Utd/Man City. Living in Australia however the fixture is barely mentioned as a fierce match, or a big rivalry. Is it the same back in England? If so why is this? Is it because the two sides are not "top" sides in the league? or Is it because Sunderland are simply shite?
  12. No suprise that. Pardew said they are back in training tomorrow. Oh ok good news
  13. No Colo, Saylor or Krul in any of the training photos today.
  14. All a cover up so we can continue to attempt to get players in on the cheaP
  15. Time for Stevie G to play midfield and up front .. il capitano!
  16. We are away from home and need to start dominating the midfield battle. Cisse is out of form and we cant afford to carry him into the most important game of the season. Ferguson has built up a sound understanding with crossing the ball to Ba in the Box. Cabaye also seems to look better in a more advanced role. Ive opted for Simpson at right back, because Im not a fan of two fullbacks bombing forward, think one needs to sit back and that player cant be Santon. Wouldnt be opposed to Perch playing there over Simpson as we all know hell get stuck in for a Derby game.
  17. Krul Simpson Taylor Coloccini Santon Tiote Jonas HBA Cabaye Ferguson Ba Bench: Anita, Cisse, Williamson, Perch, Harper, Obertan, Ameobi
  18. Think they can play together, its just the lack of movement in the side, thats not allowing the partnership to blossom.
  19. No team in the premiership play with a standard 4-4-2 anymore. It doesnt work, its more important to win the midfield battle. Man United rarely play a 4-4-2 in important games, Man City the same, Aresnal never play a 4-4-2, Everton play a 4-5-1. To copmete with the big guys you need to put the extra man in the midfield to allow our better technical players, Cabaye and Ben Arfa the freedom to change the game,
  20. Krul Santon Taylor Coloccini Ferguson Tiote Jonas Cabaye Cisse Ba Ben Arfa

    Alan Pardew

Was a daft decision. Thought Cisse was putting in a good shift too. Also taking Ferguson off was daft too, totally f***ed the balance up of the side. Its obvious isnt it .. Pards will play a square peg in a round hole if its a player he personally likes, like Shola, Demba. One of his floors as a manager.
