  1. I wonder why Joey. Nice latin by the way.
  2. Yeah, and no one cared for the club. There wasn't one who was wearing the Nr. 9 shirt for his hometown club, there wasn't one who was skipper and love the place. And there of coures wasn't one who really wanted to play for the football club and love the place and the fans. No, just money grabbing cunts. All three of them love the club if the moneys right, I agree there. Exactly, they love the club and are happy to stay, as long as everything else (money, contracts, their mates staying) goes in their favour as well. I don't blame them, I just wish people wouldn't insist on seeing the debate in black and white.
  3. Are you saying any of them aren't money grabbers? Really? Hey I didn't say anything. Simply making an observation. Classic
  4. The latter, imo. I wouldn't say he's an idiot. He just wears his heart on his sleeves. But to communicate it in public is idiotic. His idiocy has been trumped by the idiocy of the board. Yeah, fair comment, but his was the original mistake. In the past 24 hours. The board have made many more mistakes in recent times Yeah of course, but he still has no justification to slag off his employers in public. Or if he does, he has to bear the consequences.

  7. No, he's just a useless cumface twat who hasn't got a clue about football. I don't think they're mutually exclusive.
  8. Either Barton calculated that this would happen and has been stirring it up deliberately, or he's an absolute idiot for tweeting the stuff he did.
  9. One thing you can say about Mike, he's a ruthless fucker when someone crosses him. Think it's an overreaction mind, seems childish from Barton and NUFC.
  10. Where's the announcement from the little scamp then?
  11. What actually goes on on the pitch seems incidental to some people. Don't lose sight of important things like money sitting in a bank account or players doing stuff on twitter by getting all wound up about who we're actually going to play in 12 days. Don't assume this will be the only outgoing either. With all due respect, what the hell are you talking about? This decision has nothing to do with money sitting in a bank account at all. At least find the right thread of ill-informed generalising. Ian, they've got his wages off the books, which is one of the main reasons Pardew was brought in if we're to believe Golfmag (i see no reason not to since he was absolutely right about Pardew coming in ages before time). He will not be replaced by anyone, money saved. Aye, but that's just an effect, it's clear that Barton brought this into the public domain and brought the situation to a head. Unless Llambias is secretly running his twitter account. oh come ON man, it's not just an effect for gods sake. Well that's impossible to know, I'm just saying I don't think every decision at NUFC is made with reference to the wage bill. It's obviously a factor, but Joey has made his position untenable. Disagree, difficult but not 'untenable'. Not by any stretch. Well true, it was possible there was a way back. But bearing in mind who is in charge of the club, and that he was already leaving soon anyway, this was the most likely outcome.
  12. Why do you want a player to damage the club?

  14. No wonder I don't bother watching soaps.

  16. Are we the only club with players unhappy with decisions behind the scenes? I doubt it, we just happen to have a guy who is famously unhinged.
  17. Many people would be the same. I still think a punishment/fine/time in the reserves would have been better. With one year left they just decided to ditch him. Rather than pay him all that money for a one year holiday. Joey is as volatile as the come though. In a couple of weeks he could be happy again. And a couple of weeks after that? Mental again. Why bother? Fair enough, it's just a question of whether his ability is worth his mental personality. It's starting to look like it isn't.

  20. Strange that it's always when they're about to sign for someone else as well. I love NUFC, as long as they give me the money and contract I want. Fair enough, but I wish they'd stop trying to make it more than that.
  21. Don't understand it at all The only thing that matters is what happens on the pitch, this can only negatively effect us. I haven't seen anyone defending the decision based on the effect. But isn't having a player mouthing off every couple of days an untenable situation?
