Sure, but he can also close down 3 players at once in one of the best pressing sides we’ve ever seen.
-
Livramento could’ve easily cost 20-30m more if they’d stayed up and he’d played another season. Man City regularly drop £50-60m+ on defenders, especially fullbacks.
-
Scoring is just one stat.
-
He was very cheap and young.
-
I still think it’s funny that everyone constantly assumes we need a RW, when ours just had the season of his life and is integral to the system.
-
Wonder if he speaks any Portuguese?
-
Did he play towards the end of last season?
-
You could be exaggerating the risk there though. Of course you’re getting him cheaper because he hasn’t been flying. But it doesn’t necessarily means it’s because he’s likely to get injured again.
-
If he was fit and proven he would be £60m, don’t worry about it.
-
Great signing, hope he makes Sela Cup.

Just a retweet of the same source we already had?

Guess Trent is going to play in midfield mostly anyway. -

I expect so too, but at the moment you can’t say they’ve solved their midfield problems. They’ve signed two attackers in there. -

Have Liverpool signed a DM? I don’t think Villa have significantly improved through their signings, although they look good anyway. A lot depends on Diaby, the other signings are neutral. -
Talking about a ‘win win’ deal might just be preparing the ground so it looks better when the sell him.

So every transfer

Think the team has to try but the fan services have to be perfect. I’m sure they’ll get there, just a painful time at the moment.

Worrying thing about the Silverstone interview was the bit where he said “if people don’t download the tickets, it will make it look like the club haven’t done the right the thing”. I don’t think someone customer-focused would say that, they would know that the responsibility is on the system to work for people. Also saying that they were trying to do digital ticketing in 6 weeks. Why was it six weeks? Why didn’t they start earlier? I feel like he should’ve been challenged more by True Faith. Also I guess the interview was recorded before the full extent of the recent debacle? With the Sela sponsorship, he also said they had spoken to 1000 companies, but just happened to end up with one from Saudi? But TBF he did say they are open to fan engagement, and I do believe that. Just clear that he is a commercial person first and foremost. I went into it angry about the membership, so maybe overly negative.

Sure Trippier rest will come into the equation too.
-
I would guess we’d bring Targett in rather than move Trippier over.
-
On the James Alcott YouTube he showed Hojlund dropping deep a lot to link the play. I’ve ever actually seen him play though.
-
If money was the only aim they could’ve just upped the prices and kept the queue.

If you want to replace your website, back office systems and come up with a new customer management system you would be thinking at least a year, if not longer. Many questions about why they decided to go ahead with such a half-baked solution. But I guess it came from good intentions of trying to improve things. What happens from now remains to be seen. Whoever decided on the random price allocation though, has displayed a fundamental lack of understanding about who is buying tickets and what their needs might be. That is still worrying to me.
-
They really have to close the window before the season starts… ideally a couple of weeks before. It’s mental having it run on so long. I hate transfer rumours and the debate around them like, so I am biased.
-
Problem is the likelihood of getting in. Would you rather sit in the gallowgate or leazes or not go at all? I think the next step will be selecting multiple price brackets, but the only real solution is picking your own seat.
