Mackems been on then? Sounds fun, I'd go on their board but there are more than enough threads about Newcastle on here. -

Who, Krul? Mignolet Or both I think Krul is very good at dealing with High Balls. -
Nothing wrong with that performance at all, Arsenal played a strong side and we competed well. Kadar's positional sense was horrific in that game, but he really is a cb tbf. Ranger won alot but again his decision making needs some improvement. very odd game I wasn't annoyed we lost and when we went 2-0 down I said to the lass it wouldn't surprise me if we lose 4/5 or 6-0 but it wont be an reflection of the performance. They kept going, never gave up. I am proud of their commitment even though the talent was lacking.

Carling Cup fourth round - Arsenal (h) Pre-Match Thread

Right, if we're going to get shit on with that XI, what would've happened with Cesc, Nasri, Arshavin, Chamackh et al.!?!? Mentalists. Half decent chance here imo. That side would probably beat our first team tbf. But I take your point, our lot have nothing to lose and alot to gain, a night for many to make a name for themselves. -

ahh well i fucked that up! played left back before for the first tem. Played centreback once from what I remember despite being built like Hannah Montana -
I think the defence are alot more settled with Krul on set pieces, purely because of his height and he can come for pretty much everything and you know he'll probably get it, unlike Harper who you never know whether he'll come or not.

We are lacking the man that created both our goals.

That's a rarity with any side. It shows how much in control of the game we were. Or that Caldewood decided he subs.
