I wouldn't really give Hughton that much credit considering that he obviously should have been starting to begin with
-
Rings soul shatteringly true... OMFG they subbed Duff for Jonas
-
I'll be utterly shocked if they make a sub at halftime that anyone on here approves of.
-
Enrique, Bassong, Saylor, Raylor, Duff, Butt all having good games. Loven's a bit anonymous. Shola asleep at the wheel. Would've been a treat to watch this if Nolan hadn't lost his fucking mind.
-
Think we'll be back to the good 'ol days of Smith/Butt for the next few weeks
-
HT reshuffle prediction: Houghton will bring on Smith for Lovenkrands.
-
WHat a stupid tackle. Watch Nolan get himself suspended for the rest of the season now
-
WTF ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE
-
Come on Raylor time again!
-
really close. So refreshing to not have to automatically write off all our direct freekicks
-
Not starting Oba is understandable on some level, but benching Jonas was a ridiculous decision and we're paying for it.
-
Offer him 50k. If he doesn't want it, he can leave and see how much he gets on the open market. He's been good for us in spells, but I can't say that I'm sad to see him get screwed.

fucking thug deserves to be behind bars.

aye? not seen so much this season but i'll always remember the total shambles he was that time ferdinand was injured/suspended and they got raped by real/milan away from home when vidic was the main CB (mind i think he'd been rushed back from injury or something) not saying owt, just wondering how he's been without ferdinand this season, or indeed if he has been Really, really good. That's how he's been. without ferdinand? Yup, he's been exceptional with or without Ferdinand to partner him. If anything, Ferdinand has been overshadowed by Vidic even when they're playing together.

Vidic this season is to me, almost as impressive as Messi is. What fucking planet is that guy from, because he's most certainly not human.

It's gotta be so easy to pull girls as a footballer. ...Not for everyone http://img.skysports.com/08/01/218x298/Petera_Ramage_625679.jpg http://www.facebook.com/s.php?ref=search&init=q&q=peter+ramage&sid=2301e3e2578f1e1332a2c20db7436908#/group.php?sid=2301e3e2578f1e1332a2c20db7436908&gid=41360052065 QPR fans love him. mackems.gif Still can't believe we stayed when he was our best central defender AND best right back for nearly half the season.

Good to hear that the surgery went well. Wish you a speedy recovery joe However... ...Ugh

Should be forced to take the TOEFL before he's ever given another work visa in England.

Nah, at best there are at most five South Koreans that I think could be an asset to us long term. He isn't one of them, but he's a proven international DM who's on a free and can come now. If the scouting "system" is any good then surely we should have had a look, especially considering that he's been sitting on his ass negotiating a contract with Monaco for the past month or so. What do you know of Ki Sung-Yong. I was told he's supposed to be a star by one of the many Koreans that live in building. I've seen bits of him, but obviously I'm not watching all that much of the K-League. He is a holding player too I believe. I'm still disappointed with one of the last Koreans who was supposed to be a world star, Park Chu Young. I've known about him for a long while, but he hasn't developed and has probaly regressed. I do watch Ligue 1 and seeing him with Monaco......well, he's just not very good. Ki Sung-Yong will be absolutely f***ing brilliant if he continues to progress at the same rate. He first came on the scene two years ago as a slightly one dimensional, deep-lying midfielder with fantastic distribution. Since then he's added little bits and pieces to his game every few months. Now he's something of the total package: he still has great distribution and vision but now he can bomb forward, beat his man, and get a decent shot off too. Also has a decent engine on him since he started really hitting the cardio last year. Just look at his stuff on Youtube. The kid's got class. Think his only concern now is physicality. But he's not a small lad (187cm) and bulking up should be a relatively simple manner if he's willing to put in the time. More than likely he'll be off to somewhere in Europe in the summer. As far as sheer talent and potential go I haven't seen a better South Korean prospect in my lifetime. Park Joo-Young was great while he lasted but I wasn't half as excited with him as I am with this guy. (Also speaks English by the way, as he grew up in Australia) And he's still only the same age as Andy Carroll. At the very least it will be a huge disappointment if he doesn't accomplish something in Europe considering that he's already too good for the domestic league at age 19. As for Park, he had a good skillset and the potential to be a top European striker, but just wasn't mentally strong enough to deal with the media pressure. Basically freaked out and mentally collapsed during his second year as a pro and was hit with a bad niggly injury that year as well. Hasn't been the same since. When he left for Monaco he couldn't claim to be one of the best strikers in the domestic league never mind in Europe. Monaco fans seem to think he's alright though.

You ever noticed that when they do that thing with players that they end up being anything but? Emre: 'The Turkish Beckham'......aye, right oh. You're forgetting the "WiganToon Beckham" Ryan Taylor. Seriously though, I see him often and he's not bad at all. I had reservations about how well his physicality would translate to the prem but if Bruce is having a look surely there's something to see there. And we could use any sort of DM at all at the moment.
