The feeling on the streets here is not even close to being tense. Everyone, really everyone expects Germany to win so comfortably. Was just saying that he'd be an ideal person to give English football some new structures which is needed imo. Klinsmann isn't much German these days anyway btw - but, obviously it won't happen because of what you said above.

Tempted to go with a double of Belgium - Russia draw / USA + Bradley or Demsey. Klinsmann will have them motivated that's for sure and Ronaldo won't be fit. Coentrao and Pepe not playing won't help them, either. Added to that, pressure is on them. So, a lot speaks for the US Boys today. And that's me being a bit of a Portugal fan, obviously.

As much as a tactical inept coach he can be - I'd say Klinsmann would be the ideal man for England for the next 2 years. He'd took over Germany in 2004 - football at rock bottom with the World Cup in the country looming in 2006 and he transformed football and all the structures. He's not one for club football - the day to day stuff and the tactical side of things. But, to "lead" some sort of project he's the ideal person and he'd do well especially with all the young players ready/almost ready and waiting for 2016.

Because media and fans had it in our heads that this was our "golden generation". It was but he also had some bad luck. A helluva lot.
