Still can't believe he's been asked by someone to write something about football. He'd be the last person I'd ask about a opinion at the moment.

No team I ever support plays interesting football, man. Berlin are quite exciting at times.

First surprise that for me so far of the World Cup. Expected to see Uruguay see that 1-0 out tbh.
-
England now favourites at the bookies after the news of Buffon.

I love it that there is just one red point for a Portugal player, that is on the left wing. http://cache2.asset-cache.net/gc/450598682-head-coach-joachim-loew-in-action-during-the-gettyimages.jpg?v=1&c=IWSAsset&k=2&d=GkZZ8bf5zL1ZiijUmxa7QZJavP2Ij4xPtpr9bxB%2FqCkgOHIRnjlsJGmCCKXJDrl88V5Ckc%2FC6w0L8jW8f57ohA%3D%3D

In that specific case, it's not really about the ability of both keepers - it's more like what Buffon brings else to the team. His leadership, calmness and experience - witch is vital in big games.

Buffon ruled out is the latest. Good news if true.

In theory yes, but I'm awful at staying up late. Very much the same here. I want to watch it but I fear that the TV will swith the pundits (like last night) to say "well, go to bed now".

So far, so good. Probably not gonna touch the first game today as I won't be able to watch it live. Uruguay is difficult to predict - depends a lot on Suarez (waiting till line-up's) Then, I think a close England win is on the cards. Probably with Baines being the scorer...

I reckon it's because Chile have Sanchez who plays for Barcelona who were once managed by Guardiola who had a rivalry with Mourinho. I know your game. Yeah. That's also why I had bets on Neymar and Brazil and Robben and Holland... It's the World Cup. Don't care one bit about Pep or Barca here tbh.

Gone for Australia dnb purely because of the odds.

Fucking excellent day. Well done Van Gaal, Robben and Van Persie.

The defence for holland. Spain will probably win 3-0. Serious question, you're an insider of the Dutch league and know all of them inside out? No i'm not an expert of the eredivise but do you think that defence is good ? I've checked them and - as just mentioned above - they might be unexperienced and also unknown to many but that's not meaning they can't defend. I don't rate Van Gaal as highly as many people do but, what he has done at Bayern was to introduce young players to the first team in a very short space of time. Müller, Badstuber, Alaba, Contento are just to name a few. He also got Schweinsteiger from the wing into centre mid and was the first one to let him play in his "real" position. I'm excited for this match, I certainly don't think it'll be a walk in the park for Spain. It's gonna be tight, and with Van Persie, Sneijder and Robben (wanting his goal after 2010 surely now) there's anything possible.

Spain's line up looks much stronger than Netherland's but I somehow fancy Robben to get his revenge for 2010.

Eto'o to be next goalscorer. (first that is) Btw Tipico sucks for not being available during the biggest tournament of the year. Thank God I've splitted my budget quite 50 / 50 with 365.

First day done. Had a lot on Brazil and put more on them when it was 0-1. Not a lot won, but it's nothing lost. Trying to navigate through the first week as good as possible to hit it then in the 2nd round.
-
This, basically.
-
Germany vs Portugal is really really open. Especially as Portugal lost the last two times - it's time for revenge and Germany didn't have the same "feel-good" preperation they normally have.
-
England. Belgium isn't a dark horse anymore. It's probably a little horse that is not quite ready for competing for the title (sorry for taking Jose's words here) For me it's Bosnia and also England, who unlike the last times, will play free of the great pressure and had a good time now pre-tournament.
-
Just think for a few seconds about the prospect of him being England manager and being in Brazil now. (Having in mind that there were people suggesting his name in 2012 )
-
Think he'll be fit. He'll be playing the first game being about at 80%. He'll be better at the 2nd game so I still think he'll be their top scorer.

just one week now, almost there now....

Almost the same as Friday... 80€ on USA +1 / Germany / Belgium +1 250€ on Germany to win today.
