Had a quick google and it seems a legit rumour but some kind of stunt by Laporte. Someone from the Barca side (club or fan not sure) also suing PSG over FFP in a bid to stop it
-
Where's this from?
-
If he could keep that form up we've signed peak Gerrard/Lampard like
-
Ya, all in for that shit
-
PSG fella is in charge of that committee isn't he?
-
Saw him for Blackburn and didn't look much, but then I didn't see last season - 28 goals
-
Never thought he'd be good enough for a shot at the top flight, fair play to him

Hate this bullshit as well No one would ever compete in this country then, ever. As Sky and the football money kicked in Manyoo, Liverpool, Arsenal were pretty much cemented as the best run and/or supported clubs in the country and they then consolidated themselves over time between prem money & CL money. Who has realistically challenged that group in 30 years? Blackburn temporarily - loaded (for the times) owner Chelsea - loaded owner Man City - loaded owner Spurs are an arguable recent exception but really you could lump them with the likes of us to some degree, a club that have had a shot through the way they were ran or from having a good manager but missed their chance. Leicester looking good - rich owners Everton trying/tried to break in - rich owners It's the equivalent of public schoolboy attitude - cunts that were born on 3rd base thinking they'd hit a home run looking down their nose at council estate kids doing better than them. Get fucked (not you personally), hope rich owners buy the shittest clubs in this country and turn the thing upside down.

Why does when they were founded really matter in this context? Of course if the Qataris had created a club to use a vehicle it's a different matter but the club is 50+ years old and was founded to try and get a major team in one of the greatest cities in the world, why does everything in football have to be tied to the 1800's or whatever.

No doubt in my mind Longstaff becomes a player again if Rafa got him, none whatsoever.
-
Shelvey is the fucking problem really, useless fucker won't drop him. If it was a rotating midfield of Willock, Hayden, Longstaff, Shortstaff + 1 new addition I'd be less concerned but it'll always be some of these players with Shelvey :/
-
He won't be allowed to drop him for that fee, but I agree this could end badly unless they give bacon a couple of loans to support things as well.
-
He seems to thrive in a team that doesn't have the ball and play on the counter due to his running ability and timing. Arsenal are a possession team, it's no surprise really.
-
I also don't understand the "league is shit" patter about PSG, should they just not bother
-
He tried his best imo, had some insane moments in the euros but he was very well protected for the most part.
-
How have Everton spent so much money and got such a shite squad? It's baffling.
-
I agree with your assessment of Lukaku but read something where Tuchel said he wanted a striker to play with their back to goal now Giroud has gone
-
Totally this. You can talk about man city but he'd have a much harder domestic campaign here and will need to look after himself for the next year for sure. Move makes sense for him.
-
He's won a bagful of titles in Spain already but Barca being a total basket case of a club prevented him from being outright the greatest winner in CL history which will probably hurt him a lot. He's got 4 and should have had more; most by a single player is 6, Ronaldo has 5. None of us know but my guess would be that's his focus yeah. Man City might be better placed, maybe, but PSG aren't far off and are now adding the goat to make easily the greatest strikeforce in the world. You'd think they'll come very close in the next couple of years like.

Some hot fucking takes knocking about in here mind Someone else said it earlier; these people don't think like us, like a fan. Messi will be looking for greatness, he'll want another 1-2 CL's before he's done and a last crack at the WC with Argentina. This appears to set him up for that arguably better than any other move, including Man City or staying at Barca imo.

fucksake, why does everything have to be soooo bent
