I really don't think we played too badly, we created some good chances in that second half and were the better team in that period. We also started very well. We've been robbed of a result, absolutely shafted, it wasn't a good performance but look at who we had on at the end and how we were playing. We've just had a tough game on Thursday, you could tell we needed fresh legs but we'd been done by injuries, it's one of the pitfalls of the competition. My anger is not at all directed towards the staff today.

Decent outlet. He can be frustrating mind, he goes on some great runs but doesn't try them enough. He's too passive at times.

Looked very leggy today.

Some of the organisation today was terrible, but we were worth a result. The injuries screwed up our options for freshening up, one of the downsides of Europe.

One of the worst tackles I've ever seen, absolutely fucking disgraceful. Good luck Massadio.

That team's more than good enough to get a result here. -

Sissoko should not be out wide here, no way. Put him no. 10, their midfield isn't strong enough to handle him and their defence is begging to be run at. -
The only creator we have now.

Absolute incompetence from a medical perspective. It's been a farce since Fulham, didn't they not scan him before that game or something?

Was asked about that in his interview lol not sure he understood, went on about being hungry He was trying to say angry At first, I thought he was saying 'I was hungry for chicky with the gaffer', turns out he was saying he was annoyed at Cheik and Pards for blaming him for a loose pass He's class man, love his nickname for Cheik.

Elliot Debuchy Taylor MYM Santon Cabaye Tiote Marveaux Sissoko Gouffran Cisse That should do the trick. I wouldn't be averse to seeing Jonas on the left and Gouffran on the right however, I'm not sure if this is the game for Marveaux but he's a match winner in his current form, he'll have to work hard though. -
His NUFCTV interview is class, what a man. Chuffed for him.

Think he will if we match his ambition, no reason why we can't with the players we have, especially if we keep up this level of recruitment. Can't believe he plays for us, seemed a pipe dream when we were first linked (admittedly I didn't know much of him then but reading reviews etc and the teams he was linked with had me sure we would never get him) It will be difficult. He's got the ability to be the main centre back in a title-challenging/winning side, I'm not sure that's an ambition we can match in the next 5 years, even with our excellent recruitment.

Me Aye, that's right, I couldn't believe the reactions. He does everything Colo does, in terms of reading the game, distribution and intercepting, but actually adds a good degree of physicality and athleticism too. Suits Taylor down to the ground as well, one cool as you like character, one absolute mentalist.
