It helps with 9 league penalties Someones got to take them. Considering he didn't start the season too well he's done great. An in form Gerrard is probably one of the most dangerous midfielders around, but with Lampard you get an incredible, unrivalled consistency at the top level (apart from the occassional short blip).

I thought he was awesome. Yeah, in 2006/2007 season he was on fire. Great memories from those European nights. 1 season out of 3. wow not good enough for a striker on 80k a week and cost 10 million No doubt about it, he was a twat. They have some really good players though. Parker, Cole, Diamanti to name a few. On an aside, I'd take Diamanti off their hands. He looks proper quality (sometimes).
