It's a good point about the shirts and such. I just counted and I have nine Newcastle shirts that I've purchased over the years. I won't buy any more until Roeder is gone, at the least. I still support the club, but not with my money, until something is done.

If Kaka wants to come to England, there is no doubt that Chelsea will make a bid. I think he would do well at Arsenal, though.

If Campbell is, indeed, a free transfer, then there's no excuse to not sign a decent RB on top of another CB and LB. We should have the cash, and the defence is the top priority.

Here's a link to an article that claims that Sol Campbell wants to come to SJP in the summer. I wanted to add a poll to ask if you thought this was a good idea, but I'm not sure how.
I know it's been discussed before, but if Sol wants to come, I think Roeder should bring him in. If we need a Sol-type defender, then why not just bring in Sol?

I would say that had more to do with the breakdown of the rest of the team, tbh. He's an out-and-out striker, so if he's not getting good balls put into him, he's not going to be in it.

And why is the defence ALWAYS so deep? Not just tonight, the two cb's are f****** about 20-30 yards behind where they should be, i've always noticed it and it always means we're caught on the break. f*** sake.

So, does Dyer just not want to play at Newcastle anymore? He was out there for 90 minutes, and he gave us maybe 2 minutes of effort. And that "strike" (and I use that word lightly) at the end was pathetic. Just pathetic.
I was shocked, too, to see Owen out there for 95 minutes. That's just too risky. We have nothing to play for, so why is Roeder risking him, especially after two more crucial injuries? For Roeder to risk Owen for a small chance at Intertoto is wreckless.

HA HA HA!!! My dad jips him all the time about Pattison, even me Mam passes comment when he calls at our house.
Also told me about 2 first team squad players + Phil Cave getting arrested which resulted in all 3 having a little stay at Market St Police Station. Cave was meant to get sacked because of this.
It's spelt "gyp" and it's a racial slur. I'm sorry to be an a** and point that out, but these types of things upset me.
It didn't upset me that you spelled it wrong. To say that you got "gypped" is a racial slur. It is the same as saying that you got "Jewed" except it is against Gypsies. And I wasn't upset; a lot of people don't realize when they say it that it's a slur, so I pointed it out. It may be a dead metaphor, which explains the Wiki reference, but it is a slur, nonetheless.
Anyways, as I said, I wasn't trying to put you down or start a fight.

I can't wait to see Edgar play with Canada at the U-20 World Cup in Toronto this summer. This news makes it even better. He's pure class, and I'm glad we have him.

It's not the world class we're missing, it's leadership. Taylor might get there, but he's a bit young, Titus doesn't seem to be a leader on the pitch and Moore hasn't been around to do it.
Agreed. An experienced and respected center back along with some younger, compitent defenders, and things will be better.

If this is true, Berbatov will quickly go from the most loved to the most hated man at White Hart Lane. Personally, even though I don't care for the Spurs, I hope he stays it out there. I don't like how all the best players end up in the top 4 clubs.

I don't know much about his time as a coach in leagues, but I always felt when he was coaching England that he wasn't willing or able to make the tough decisions. It showed with the teams that he chose to field. He always chose to play the big names, even when they didn't deserve to play.
Maybe I'm not being fair, but I think that whoever takes over for Roeder has to be able to make some big decisions about how this club is to turn around.
