Whatever appointment that keeps us up, really. Days are passing, games are played, unless we start climbing it’s all in vain.

The things is; I’d really expected them to have sorted this before they took over. I mean, asking their top candidate if he is willing to manage once they got the keys is really not that hard. Rafa was appointed by Everton long before the takeover happened, so they already knew he was not available. Since the start of the season everybody can see were the club is at (rock bottom) so really not ‘rocket science’ finding out with their candidate if our position would be a problem. Also, if it has something to do with reputation because of the Saudis, this could also have been sorted way before. To me, it seems that the new owners are struggling with appointment, and are running out of preferred candidates. But hey, I don’t really know, I am just concerned

The new owners’ hesitation might just cost the club its PL status.

I’ll tell you, with the slow pace these new owners seems to have, someone (anyone, really!) need to remind them the season only has 38 games. Their new investment have not won since fucking forever, so they better have a hell of a plan to save this club from relegation.

Well, we know Smalling is injjury prone and not good enough. Mktharyan didn't wotk out to good in PL, and Diawara got destroyed by B/G.

I am really pleased the new owners finally gave him the boot. Like I've said in my earlier posts, I was rather unimpressed when they let him stay on for the Spurs game. He never should have. Whilst there's a tiny, tiny part of me that actually feels sorry for Bruce making such a fool of himself, for the most part he agreed to making himslef a scrap goat in return for £8 mill pay off. Anyone of the backstaff could have been in the dugout against Spurs, and there's no way they've done worse. I do agree with Bruce - he's done as a manager in PL. This was his last "crack". Eventhough many fans probably had hopes and backed him up initially, most of N-O knew he'd fail miserably merely based on his record. Anyway, someday I'll probably forget he even managed Newcastle. Pretty much sums it up.

Could do with them working faster to turn things around. 19th place with no wins isn't the time to "progress slowly", unless that means Championship next season. Act now, sack Bruce.
