No offense but a lot of those guys talk in circles before making a point. Would rather get the point straight away with sheers brutal analysis then people trying to talk like they’ve got an oxford degree in the English language.

Don’t agree. He has external pressure from his fellow you tubers to put out a video whether they win lose or draw. If he, for instance, skipped a video for the 6-1 loss, he’d been called a pussy or a coward so he manned up and made a video. They’re a more haters in his chat than actual Tottenham fans. Fake scores, name calling, the whole nine yards. They like to see him lose.

That’s just how he talks in the moment. My god. You want 100% real reaction, get it, and still complain. You want Oxford vocabulary, go listen to Simon Jordon. when I hear people talking like Ex and Troopz, I know I’m getting the real cause they’re not sugar coating anything. They’re saying how it is, however it comes out, trying to get their point out 100%.

I’m struggling to see which youtubers, if any, you guys like because at this point it ain’t the from the bottom to the top hard work strugglers like AFTV and Expressions so it much be the overly produced financed Sidemen or something like that. if you saw the journey he’s been on, it’d be hard not to sympathize. Watchalongs of all the matches, even the ones when they lose. You can see he’s not even in it for the money anymore. Begging his team to lose the game because he doesn’t want the Conference league. He supports Tottenham ffs.

Genuinely feel sorry for this guy because he gives it his all as a fan and is the butt of every joke on the Youtube scene.

Have you heard any of these commentators and said to yourself “why is there a 13 year old boy commentating on this football match I’m trying to watch?” If not, you may be deaf, my friend. Seriously cut all the PC shit. Be honest.

My problem is they’re slower at reading the game and most of their voices sound like pre pubescent boys. A lot of the time there’s dead air and you guys can laugh and joke and say I’d rather hear silence than XYZ commentator, when an actual incident occurs and you’re looking to your broadcasters to explain the situation, a lot of the time, there’s no explanation.

Well why can’t they start on women’s games or non league, work themselves up to the top? IMO they’ve been skyrocketed right to the top based on gender alone. I agree that they’re highly scrutinized and under the microscope but they’re not succeeding and living in the moment, they’re folding under the pressure and the little things you hear on football commentary aren’t there like anecdotes or analysis. They’re usually two to three seconds behind the play but what? I’m supposed to feel sorry for them? Perhaps they’d be more comfortable at a slower paced game like women’s football for instance.

If they were good, I wouldn’t say anything but the quality is just not there. I remember one episode of The Debate and Geoff Shreves had to tell Alex Scott “you can’t just sit there, you have to contribute to discussion” because she didn’t know what was going on. That was five years ago, though and she’s better now. This is affirmative action. It’s not based on merit. It’s based on quota or something.

It’s the best of two evils. Can’t stand female commentators. Most of them sound like pre pubescent boys, they’re placated to by the main commentator when they stumble over their word(which they do A LOT). They simply can’t keep up with what’s going on on the pitch. Why can’t they just commentate on women’s matches? If they were good, I wouldn’t say anything but they’re simply not good enough for the job. So much silence when they’re commentating. Feel like they need to be poked with a stick to be reminded that this is the time you need to make a comment.
