  1. If they do the treble, that's going right up there with Leicester for me.
  2. It's awkward and cringe watching foreign pundits stumble through the English language in a television environment. I feel sorry for them. I feel sorry for Thierry. It's like everyone is in on a joke except him.
  3. This is why I don’t like foreign pundits. You should have a strong grasp of the English language to be on TV. Didi Hammann is probably the best foreign pundit. He’s 100% fluent in English. it kills me seeing Thierry saying things like “what are they doing? The tango? Or in France we call it this but I don’t know the word for it in English.” Then go on French media and smash it. Same goes for Evra, Hasselbaink and even Mourinho. It comes off as really awkward. They once had Gilberto Silva doing punditry. GILBERTO SILVA ffs. He could barely answer a question and mumbled through. Zabaleta’s another one, get him off, he can’t speak English. Also, Henry is cool… when he’s around people who speak French. There’s an interview with him and Mbappe and and Mbappe is laughing smiling, 100% in awe. You see Henry with the Belgium national team. They love him but it’s because they can understand him. He’s a cornball on UK/US media because he’s trying too hard. It’s really uncomfortable viewing.
  4. Mbappe can't play 9? Thought that'd be his shirt number. Would be a shame if Vini left, he's probably the most entertaining footballer in the world right now.
  5. They took one of Liverpool's most important players and turned him into their version of a Grealish/Milner utility man player.
  6. Bayern's number policy is weird. All of their academy players keep the same number their whole career(Lahm 21, Schweinsteiger 31, Alaba 27, Muller 25, etc) while they give the 1-11 numbers to players they sign.
  7. Only been to one game at SJP in my life but there was a moment where Ayoze received the ball in the center circle and turned the defender. Never heard a louder roar in my life. The team was kind of built around him during his last two years. Going to Leicester was a mistake from a footballing POV.
  8. On this occasion, I don’t mind. HeMs got the skills as well as the shithousary that adds a different dimension to his play. Plus Chelsea hierarchy are so stupid, the end up spending the transfer fee on five under 21s from all over the globe. They’re clueless.
  9. Colwill would be a dream. Even thought they’re selling their Cobham graduates, I think someone’s put it in their ear that Colwill will become a cornerstone player in their future.
  10. It is but you can understand it though as boring as it is. For the second goal, Rodri, Walker and Bernardo were just passing among themselves then bam KDB to Haaland goal. Kudos to Forrest for having a different game plan, though. In all honesty, I think Real set the way on how City should be played from now on. Just defend and hope for a draw. Arsenal did it. Real did it the best. They want you to play anyway so just fucking set up 11 behind the ball.
  11. Fuck me, must have been 30-40 passes before that.
  12. Aye they have been the better side. Rare to see City not having 100% control.
  13. Could be a new league thing or a not starting thing(which he probably wouldn’t here) so forget it. Looks a handful, though.
  14. Difficult technique but still a bad miss there
  15. Would you take Breraton Diaz? No doubt he’s going to have a career in the Premier league. Think we’re too good for him?
  16. Was just about to praise Chris Wood and he does that.
  17. Was beaming when he said his ability and ambition wasn't being matched at Everton so he came to us. Can't imagine what's being told to the players coming on board. Buzzing for the future.
  18. He's def got more to his game than say Højlund. Least he runs the channels, gets involved. Man U fans calling Højlund Jack Swagger because he spends more time wrestling defenders than playing football.
  19. Was watching a random Villareal game last season and his technique stuck out 10 fold but agree watching him week in week out, his decision making and composure can be extremely erratic. Don't think he should get the hate he does. There is a player there.
  20. Astroblack

    Andy Cole

Think that's just his personality. Was watching his PL Legends show the other day and he was saying something along the lines of "why does no one ever mention me in the best goal scorer in PL history conversation?"
  21. I saw all the fouls but on highlights. Did he go to the monitor for any of them?
  22. He's takes goal kicks like in the old days, too. Doesn't fuck around in the six yard box like everyone else.
