Yes , Your Bitter NSG at the leaflet you created and frankly you should be ashamed of yourself. If you bothered too read on the forum's instead of blaming the Toon Ultra's that those who are associated with this were disgusted at the behaviour of the local riff raff at the game and have already distanced themselves from anything associated with the riff-raff. It's easy for you too come on a forum and point fingers at people but just because the Toon Ultra's were easy too pick out in that end it doesn;t mean all were associated with it so grow up mate ehh!! Buy a dictionary.
  4. I'm taping my fingers crossed. Ok, we get the point.
  5. I think he's a good player, still don't want us to sign him like.
  6. howay man NSG. Ameobi or Owen ?? The only way we are better off without Owen is if he expresses a desire to leave the club. Don't get carried away with Luque from the other day, although it would be nice if he starts to perform. Basically, we have Viduka, Owen and Martins. So if we sell him we need to replace him !!! I just posted the question, didn't state my opinion OK fair enough, but you could have phrased it better Now you mention it though, I think, as a club, he is essential to us. He is the closest player we have to "world class". He is effectively the face of the club at the moment. The player used to sell shirts and promote the club accross the world. Without him you're looking at the likes of Martins, Barton etc. Very good players in their own right, but they wont sell 1000's of shirts every year. On the playing side of things I reckon he's still an integral cog to our team, but maybe not THE essential cog that he would have been this time last year. We've evolved a team to play without Michael Owen, it'll be interesting to see where he fits in.

Toon Ultras showing their true colours.... "As Dyer left the stadium, a group of youngsters converged on his car, beat their hands on the windows and told him to “f*** off down to London”. While the incident involved a small vocal presence, it left the 28-year-old shaken; along with the player himself, many fans have accepted that his long, fraught spell on Tyneside has drawn to a natural conclusion."
  9. Obviously he's a quality finisher, the best at the club. But with Martins, Luque, Shola, Viduka and Carroll all looking promising for the coming season, and Owen struggling with niggles and yet to discover his form, is it a case of he needs us more than we need him? If we got 10mill+ for him, would we be better off selling him and spunking that + the other reported 10 mill on the defence?
  10. Welcome back mate. So will we be hearing Local Hero as per usual for the west ham match?
  11. www.nufc.co.uk Buffon Praise For Toon Starlet Andy By Craig Hope THE world's most expensive goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has hailed teenage striker Andy Carroll after the Magpies starlet scored his first senior goal past the Italian stopper. Big Andy took just five minutes to break his Toon duck after replacing fellow scorer Albert Luque just after the half-hour mark, finishing in style with a left-footed strike at the Leazes End. And, after the Geordies' 2-0 win, £32m World Cup winner Buffon had nothing but praise for the Gateshead-born frontman. "Carroll played like what we call in Italy a paintbrush striker, he was there to add the finishing touch," said the 29-year-old. "He played well on his own and although Newcastle were aiming for his head with some of his passes, he showed he can play with his feet too because he laid the ball off excellently to the supporting midfielders. "He will be an asset because he can find the players around him in different ways and he has already shown he has great awareness." After beating Juventus, how will United get on against Sampdoria at St. James' on Sunday? Make sure YOU are there to find out. Click below and buy your seat online today ... Buffon, who was involved in a horror clash with Big Andy which left the Academy product slightly dazed, also took time to wish the Magpies all the best for the new season. "I wish Newcastle and their fans all of the best wishes for the new season and I think they will do well," he told The Evening Chronicle. "I like the club and they play in the same colours as Juventus and there are similarities between the clubs. "The last time we played here in the Champions League a few years ago, I enjoyed the atmosphere generated by the home fans. "They are a good set of supporters and I was impressed by everything at the club." Meanwhile, Oba Martins explained how he has been helping Carroll in recent game and revealed his delight after watching the youngster bag his first black and white goal. "I was so pleased to see Andy score," said the former Inter star. "It's hard when you are a young player to come in and impress, but he has done it. "I am happy to look after him and help him as a young player. "He is still just 18 and so you have to do that." "He is learning, but he is doing very well - I am happy for him."
  12. I heard there is less than 1000 left, think they've been selling pretty well.
  13. www.nufc.co.uk FORMER Magpie defender Jonathan Woodgate will miss the start of the Premiership season because of the knee operation he had in May. Boro boss Gareth Southgate said: "He is not into full training yet and with him we have to be a bit patient. "The recovery from the operation he had could be 12 weeks, it could be 14 weeks." Boro face Blackburn Rovers at the Riverside on August 11 in their opening fixture. ----------------------------------------- Looks like he wont play against us then
  14. Mr googles first choice converter says 180cm.
  15. Bet that goes straight in the museam next to the "Terry Mc" exhibition.
  16. It's tall enough for a full back.
  17. Even better - if Nobby passes the ball to him, it'll sound like there's an echo in the commentary box!
  18. So what is he like then?
  19. "Boukary did very well at PSG last year, but wants to test himself at the highest level possible and believes the Premier League is the place to be," Drame's agent Saif Rubie told skysports.com. "He has fantastic potential and his game is ideally suited to the demands of the Premier League. "Along with Eric Abidal at Lyon he was regarded as the form left back in the second half of last season in France and he would now relish the opportunity to demonstrate his ability in England." Probably just agent talk, but sounds promising.

    "Fatty" Carr

Agreed, like there was one point today when he and a Juve player were racing to the ball and he put in a crunching tackle to win it. Still needs to improve his crossing like, but he could well turn out to be one of Sams little miracles.
