    Happy New Season!

    Good stuff fella!
  3. Surely a gen chat topic tbh. I'd think about it btw, I might.
  4. Manchester City have reached a "preliminary agreement" with Reggina to sign striker Rolando Bianchi for £8.8m, according to the Italian club. Reggina expect the striker to complete his move to City on Wednesday.
  5. Can't believe you're actually thinking about it. Come to think about it, for a decent fee I wouldn't mind Messi.
  6. Probably coming for a night on the bigg market tbh
  7. 5 live rang him at quarter to 8 and recorded his piece. Talked about Sam, the new training methods, the new signings and possible future signings. Looks like I got the time wrong and it could be on tomorrow. Will let you know when I know.
  8. I'm not perfect but I didn't make a mistake there.
  9. Maybe he is, I didn't follow his PSG days, but for Man Utd he was brilliant at left back. It was my understanding that he's excellent in both positions, though I'd have thought Man Utd fans were happier with him on the left. Have to ask one of them I suppose. S'pose if he's equally as comfortable in both positions, LB would be preferential for us. NSG dont you meen suppose not s'pose Can use either. Shouldn't you have used a question mark at the end of your post?

  12. Type: drogba "sometimes i dive" into youtube You do realise who you're talking to, right? yeah I know he was joking I was backing him up, for once
  13. Heinze is more of a CB isn't he? Always thought that was his preferred position as well myself. I'd be more comfortable with him at LB though, bring in Marquez to play alongside Taylor. Would be typical NUFC to play him at full back just because he's left footed.
  14. Heinze is more of a CB isn't he?
  15. Seriously, gets annoying having thousands of Arsenal and Spurs threads.
  16. Don't forget it's on tonight ladies
  17. Real Madrid have named Bernd Schuster as their new coach after the sacking of Fabio Capello last week. The 48-year-old German has ended his two-year association with Getafe to take over at the Bernabeu. "His teams play good, entertaining football," said Real president Ramon Calderon. "He knows the club and will handle a dressing room full of stars." Capello was sacked on 28 June - only 11 days after he had led Real to their first league title since 2003.
  18. Brought Mark Pembridge in as his replacement IIRC.
  19. Oscar Wilde lives! Move over Brazil, here comes Bolton! mackems.gif
  20. Bit strange that the man city match and everton matches got moved so dramatically.
  21. No i haven't. We had almost 20,000 season ticket holders a few season's ago. We've actually improved our league position since then but crowds have been steadily dropping at the Reebok. If we had a load of 'glory hunter' fans, presumably they'd be filling the ground wouldn't they? No i haven't. We had almost 20,000 season ticket holders a few season's ago. We've actually improved our league position since then but crowds have been steadily dropping at the Reebok. If we had a load of 'glory hunter' fans, presumably they'd be filling the ground wouldn't they? So how come you can take only 500 fans to an away Premier League game and then so many to Marseille? Where have the extra fans been during domestic away games all over the country? Our beer is too expensive at 2 quid a pint
  22. Marseille was an escape from the dross served up at the Reebok every week. Please try to keep up. You were dross in Marseille IIRC.
  23. And when we see it on the video screen get out our foam hands and sing "another one bites the dust".
