Said he'll be going to away games. Would be class if he strolled down in his kit to Bolton singing Blaydon Races

Didn't really say much except that he sanctions the transfers now and there are funds available for Sam when he wants them.

Bort?? Aww man. "We need more Bort licence plates in the gift shop..." "Bort, Bort? Who calls their son Bort???" "I'm Bort!" "Are you talking to me?" "No my son is named Bort also" etc... Lets "abort" this line of comments! Anyone know when "Wednesday morning" actually is? In the next 2 and a half hours I guess.

  10. The day you disprespect Milner, is the day you meet your untimely demise Laughing at the fact he contradicted himself there.
  11. Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard says his comeback from serious knee ligament damage is going according to plan. The 28-year-old has not played since he was injured when playing against Newcastle in September 2006. He underwent surgery in December and has been training through the summer in a bid to regain fitness. Bullard told Fulham's website: "Even though my training regime is different from the rest of the lads I can see light at the end of the tunnel now." Bullard was able to join his Fulham team-mates when they returned to pre-season training on Monday. I don't want to set a specific date for my return but hopefully it won't be too long into the season "I've been working hard all summer and it's great to see the lads back in for pre-season training," added the former Wigan player. "It has been a frustrating period for me personally but being back out there running is a major step in my rehabilitation and the first day of proper pre-season training has gone really well. "Hopefully it won't be too long before I'm kicking a ball around again. "As I've said before, I don't want to set a specific date for my return but hopefully it won't be too long into the season and I can't wait to get back out on the pitch and thank the fans for all their support in the best way possible - by putting in some good performances." --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not really related to NUFC but it was probably the worst injury that's happened while i've actually been at the match. Anyway, glad to see he's on the mend and hopefully playing football sooner rather than later.
  12. From the Mirror. not much new except the fact a lot of staff have left Bolton officially. SAM Allardyce has angered Bolton by poaching seven of his old backroom team to join him at Newcastle. The Toon boss plans to recruit almost a third of the staff he put together at The Reebok. Most of his targets have handed in their notice in the past few days. Wanderers chairman Phil Gartside is raging at the mass defection, which comes despite talk of "hands off" agreements with Allardyce, who quit as Bolton manager in April. Relations between the pair are strained, with Allardyce branding Gartside "sad and bitter". Newcastle's prize capture is "soccer professor" Mike Forde, but several medical, fitness and scouting staff are leaving Bolton. Wanderers are considering putting many of those resigning on gardening leave, which would prevent them working for Newcastle straight away, although the clubs are discussing possible compensation. Allardyce is interested in FC Copenhagen defender Brede Hangeland and may offer £2m. The Norway centre-back, 26, joined the Danish side a year ago from Viking Stavanger.

  14. .cock Toon Striker One Of World's Best Says Coach By Craig Hope AUSTRALIA boss Graham Arnold has said that Newcastle United striker Mark Viduka is "one of the top three strikers" in the world after his brace for the Socceroos at the weekend. The 31-year-old headed two goals as the Aussies ran out 3-0 winners against Singapore in their final warm-up match before this summer's Asian Cup. And Viduka, who signed a two-year deal at St.James' Park last month, has been hailed as one of the best strikers on the planet by his national coach. "When Viduka's happy on and off the field, I'd go as far as saying he's one of the top three strikers in the world," said Arnold. "He's that good and he's that important to the nation. "In my years I played the same position and I had as much talent as his little toe. "And I played 85 games for Australia. You can't replace people like that. So it's not convincing them to go on, it's about making them happy. "As long as their form's all right, why would you want someone to retire when their form's hot?"
  15. I've got their white one from last season, it's lush. Bilos on the back
  16. Have we been relegated before the season starts?! We can all dream... Worse than Reading reserves apparently
  17. Can see him being played as one of a midfield 3 tbh.
