To be fair, given that I did my degree in multimedia design, its a pretty Fuckin convincing PhotoShop job if it is. To get the lighting, motion blur in correlation to the airport picture would take some effort. Like a days worth to look, after close inspection, anything remotely like the actual picture. I don't think its fake.

Who can blame him, after all, Newcastle is the 2nd bestest ever party city in Europe. Like. :frantic:
  9. Err...we were linked with him a few weeks ago. Rumour that he trained with our team was quashed by Hughton.

To be fair to HBA, the club, president and manager didn't want him this time last week and he looked to be on his way. Then for them to do a complete u-turn, due to another player trying to be offloaded, I think he's fine in refusing to play/wages/etc. Fingers crossed player power in this casew wins through. Still not sure why he'd want to come here. Must be the weather.

That doesn't necessarily make the reverse statement through for last season though, does it. I'd agree with Shearergoal that the MAIN reason we did well last season was because of the poor opposition, unless you wish to believe we would have comfortably reached European qualification last season despite what happened the season before had we managed to take a point from AV..? I still think what he's trying to say is correct though. If we had the same team from last season, with the same spirit and harmony, playing in 08-09, we would not have went down. It was a combination of piss-poor management, bad timing and overpaid underperforming pre-madonas as to why we went down.

Or perhaps he means they have made no contact with Ben Arfa re: the transfer? Nee idea. Perhaps he's been told to zip it in case other people chuck a bid in? No one frigging knows.
  16. Or a mate who broke his hand 10 years ago, but refuses take a turn in goal in-case the ball hits it. The same lad who goes to the gym every night and lifts weights. Boils my piss.
  17. What a fucking shame. Boo fucking hoo. Hope we do them after that abomination of uncalled for abuse when we got relegated.

They are getting that info from an article that was posted on Caught Offside a few days ago, which is essentially just a blog. Complete guesswork from them. Yeah seen quite a bit of blatantly made up stories on there the past couple of days, why would Liverpool bid £9.1 million when OM have already accepted £6.2m for other clubs? More to the point, where the hell would Lpool get 9.1m from anyhow?

The thing is, for all of Jonas's flaws, people don't realise how much pressure he absorbs by fannying around with it on the wing. He gives welcome restbite for our defence and provides an outlet when we don't have one due to him being able to keep hold of the ball. With Routledge, Jonas and hopefully Ben Arfa playing behind Carroll, we'll be a decent attacking force from midfield.
